Peaceful and private living spaces in sought after Central Zone!
Location:
Beautiful home is located on a quiet alleyway in heart of Madrid, which makes it adjacent (only 200 meters) to Gran Via, the busiest avenue in Madrid, and famous Plaza de España, yet sets back from the hustle and bustle of the city. It´s within walking distance to tourist spots, like Senado de España, Palacio Real de Madrid, Templo de Debod, great theaters and cinemas and big comercial centers, like el Corte Inglés. It´s also very close to restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, metro stations (170m to Metro Plaza de España that is on metro line 2, 3 and 10), bus stops …… Everything is convenient.
Neighborhood:
The property is on the second floor of a 1900´s two-story residential building that is clean and well-maintained . The alleyway in front of the building is a narrow one-way street. National Police district Madrid-Center is diagonal across from the building. Most of the constructions on this alleyway are residential buildings. They are old and traditional. Living in a such neighborhood is calm and safe as well.
Distribution:
It is 54㎡ in area with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room, and 1 kitchen. Living room right in the entrance, passway leads to two private and peaceful bedrooms on one side, both with double size bed(the size of the mattress is 1,4*2m.)and wardrobe, separated by the passway, the kitchen and the bathroom are spacious and well-equipped and you can find many facilities that you may need. The living room has a sofa bed of 1.3m in wide. The flat can accommodate 4 guests at most.
A special feature of the property is that each part, including living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom, is independent. Basically it could be regarded 3-room flat.
Transportation:
It takes around 40 minutes from the airport to the flat by subway and 35 minutes by car. Plaza de España of Metro line 2, line 3 and 10 and Santo Domingo of Metro line 2 are the closest subway stations, 170m and 300m individually to the flat.
Parking
The flat is located in the city centre zone. To enter this area the car needs to have C or B environment badge at least. Street parking is not allowed for non-residents in the central zone. Guests have to use public parking lots. There are several parking garages within 300 meters radius. The rates range from 29 euros to 48 euros per day. I would like to recommend these to guests:
1) APARCAMIENTO GRAN VIA. In the central zone. 29€/day.
2) Parking “PALACIO DE LOS DUQUES”. In the central zone. 29€/day
3) Aparcamiento EMT Plaza España. Out of the centre zone. 36.3€/day.
If guests stay for a month or more, they can rent a parking space at a good price.
The below provides you some instructions about making a reservation.
1) The flat is on the second floor. No lift. There are 37 steps approximately from the ground floor to the second floor. For travelers who travel with large or multiple pieces of baggage, please think carefully. For sure, the host would like to help with the luggage.
2) The host is not good at spanish and can speak some english. But guests can send messages to the host in any language and the host will reply using guests´ language.
3) Check-in time and check-out time are after 3pm and before 11am. If guests arrive earlier than 3pm, they can make a request to leave their luggages at the flat from 11am.
4) The host will help guests with check-in at the flat when they are arriving. It would be great if guests would tell the host their arrival time in advance.
