About the host

Hi - we are a family that lives in Calgary. I grew up swimming in this lake as a kid and always wanted to own a place. I'm an RN and at the beginning of COVID realized I needed to make this happen. It has become our place to get out of the city and introduce kids to the joys of running free into the lake and around the large property.
Why they chose this property
We searched and searched and fell in love with this place. The layout of the house, the size of the property, huge beach and lack of traffic were unparalleled. My father was a logger and so I actually grew up around logging and sawmills - so while some may see the sawmill across the lake as a deterrent, for myself, the smells and of the wood and the sawmill is part of the charm.
What makes this property unique
Probably the biggest benefit is being in the Shuswap with none of the boat traffic, all of the amazing weather and amenities while feeling like you are in a very special and secluded area of BC.
