The upper-level residence overlooks the tree-lined grounds of the Village and surrounding mountains from a private balcony and picture windows throughout. An open-concept layout creates seamless flow between the living area, dining room and gourmet kitchen, with the bedrooms evenly spaced for privacy.

In the living area, a full-length leather sofa and club chair welcome guests to relax by the gas fireplace or enjoy the large-screen SmartTV. An antique writer’s desk offers a charming place to sneak in remote work.

Seat up to six guests at the hardwood dining table, with three stools at the breakfast bar adding a “kids’ table” or room for larger groups. The gourmet kitchen will inspire home cooked meals with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

A stackable washer and dryer adds convenience, keeping ski gear toasty and lake clothes dry. The home does have air conditioning for cool and comfortable summer visits.

As a guest of Iron Horse Lodge, you’ll enjoy access to the community hot tub and seasonal pool, fitness center, lounge, ski valet service and a reserved parking space in the underground garage for one car. Guests receive an additional guest pass for first-come, first-served parking. The lifts, restaurants and amenities of The Village at Northstar all lie within a short walk.

In the summer, drive to Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe in less than 15 minutes, or explore the area’s many hiking and biking trails. In the winter, drive to Palisades Tahoe in less than 30 minutes to ski even more world-class terrain, or enjoy Nordic skiing, snowmobiling and even dog mushing -- all easily accessible from Iron Horse Lodge.
