amazing place to stay, couldnt have been any closer to the waterfront . the view and atmosphere was amazing we were here in the off season start of spring and we had the ocean to ourselves. very relaxing and quiet could not of picked a better spot to get away from everything. the nights we spent on the patio and in the hot tub the only sound you could hear was the small waves coming ashore. the accommodations were very clean and updated along with a full kitchen and lots of entertainment options to choose from when the weather shifted to snow. deffinetly coming back.

Lovely time on the strait

We enjoyed a couple of nights at this modern and cozy well-appointed house. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms luxurious, kitchen fully equipped, views gorgeous, hot tub bonus! This pet-friendly rental has gracious and responsive hosts in a stunning location close to quaint towns with amenities, history, beaches and nature walks.

Oasis on the Sea

Located on the beach, beautifully appointed cottage.

Great spot for a weekend, easily accommodated 2 couples. All amenities will leave you with nothing missing. Halfway between River John and Tatamagouche - great spot to visit for lunch on Saturday! Highly recommend!!

Beach front relaxation

The property was very nice. I only wish we could walk down by the water. Decor and access to blankets, towels was great. Hot tub was so relaxing and ready for use. Top notch technology that im not used to but fiqured out. My daughter and i needed a relaxed spring getaway and this was perfect!

Amazing vacation spot!

Our group had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. The views were amazing, the house was stunning and perfectly clean. We appreciated the extra little touches they provided as well, such as new toothbrushes and toothpaste, well stocked kitchen with all the utensils and cooking items we could ever need. We didn’t have the greatest weather unfortunately, but we still enjoyed the hot tub!

Wonderful cottage, modern and beautiful inside and out. Great for a short term stay. Beach access just down the road and pretty private! VRBO app didn’t work well for us for messaging (the app it self wouldn’t load) so I would recommend getting a texting number.

Beyond Amazing!!

We booked this trip last minute as a night away. We wanted something with a water view & a hot tub! Well the water view was beyond amazing, we were literally on the water and the hot tub had the perfect view too! Very very clean. The King Bed was unbelievably comfortable! We would definitely book here again and we highly recommend staying!!

Summer 2023

Although the weather wasn’t ideal the cottage surpassed our expectations. It was so comfortable, clean and spacious and used smart technology. We loved sitting on the deck or in the hot tub looking for seals or the occasional bald eagle. The ocean was warm and the host was fantastic.

Lovely and Peaceful Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway at this waterfront home. Brand new, it is modern and luxurious yet comfortable. This property takes full advantage of some of the most spectacular views I have seen in one location. Facing the sparkling blue water of the bay and framed by points of land to the East and West, we were thrilled by gorgeous sunrises and stunning sunsets. Every part of the home and its art filled interior reflects the welcoming generosity of its host, Marie. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great property!

The major problem with our stay is that it was way too short! 😊. I wish we could have had more time to enjoy this lovely property, but we were so glad to have had the time we did! We were basically checking it out before a stay we have booked for August. We did have a little issue actually finding the exact place, as it was getting dark and we were looking for number 18, when it is actually number 34. Communication with the host was great during the our stay, but it seemed we kind of got lost in the shuffle beforehand. Overall, it is a beautiful property, very clean and welcoming! It did not disappoint and we are so looking forward to our much longer stay in August!

Everything we could hoped

My sister-in-law, four children, and myself spent 4 glorious days in the house by the ocean. We were so pleasantly surprised by how well designed it was both inside and out. Nestled amount other properties on a small cliff, this house boasted a gorgeous kitchen, full ocean views, a huge hot tub, and a little bunkie perfect for teens. It was easy to visit Tatamagouche and explore the Coast. We saw seals swim by daily and had a little hummingbird drop by every morning and evening. Marie was helpful, courteous, and available when needed. If we make it back out East anytime soon we’ll definitely try to stay here again!

July 2023

A beautifully finished cottage with amazing views from both the downstairs and upstairs decks. The kitchen contained plentiful dishes, glasses, pots and pans. It was fun to walk on the rocky beach at low tide and use the provided kayak to explore the shores. The view from the hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed it almost every evening. Marie was quick to respond to questions and sent a tech over to check the dishwasher when it wouldn’t work. Unfortunately the lack of a dishwasher with 5 adults and a child, meant quite a bit of manual labour for us, but we survived. For our family the open concept, with barn doors on the bathrooms lacked the privacy we normally enjoy. The absence of curtains or blinds upstairs did not provide the amount of control over our sleeping conditions we would have liked. These are personal preferences and may suit others very well. Overall we enjoyed our vacation, created many wonderful memories and Marie was a good host; there when we needed her and absent when when we didn’t. Thank you Marie for sharing your cottage with us.

Oasis on the Shore

Truly an oasis on the shore! A new cottage that had lots of thought put in it. An adorable and relaxing place. All you need to bring is a suitcase. Both decks are awesome, facing north to the ocean, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. A great firepit overlooking the ocean along with a hot tub top it off. And then there is Marie! A great hostess, and when you first meet her it feels like you have known her for years. Can't forget the neighbors. Very friendly and we were invited to a wine party the 2nd night we were there. Try it, you won't be disappointed. We definitely will be back!

Everything was top-notch - the location, the layout, the amenities and of course, the host. Marie was great and made sure everything was to our liking.
