Perfect!

Lou's place was everything we needed for our stay! We loved that it was so clean and had more than enough kitchen essentials to prepare quick breakfasts and lunches before heading out for the day. The location is great and very quiet.

Perfect for what we needed

The townhouse was perfect for what we needed. Neighborhood was quiet and off the beaten path but close to everything. We will definitely try to stay here again when we come back for our annual Epcot trip.

Great Vacation Stay

Spent a week at this great vacation rental and it was everything as advertised. Host supplied all essentials needed and house was pleasant and spacious. The resort itself was nice, quiet and had great scenery. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.

Great Disney Trip at a Great Price

My family and I had a great time on our trip. The rental is in a perfect location for all the Disney parks. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. Everything was clean and neat in the rental and plenty of room for my family of 4. The resort was nice and had nice facilities. I really want to give this rental 5 stars, but we were disappointed in the beds. They are due for an upgrade. Everything else was great. We really do appreciate the used of the property. Thanks to the owners.

Nice house/Great location

Was the perfect base for our Disney vacation. Very nice grounds, secure, and clean. Would definitely recommend and would book again once we get over the extra costs of Disney.

Disney Trip

We stayed at this property on our Disney trip. It was perfect in terms of size and location for my family. It fit 5 in total with 2 of those being a teen and toddler. Would recommend for it’s location and comfortability.

Great location

We had a great time at Emerald Island Resort. This was my first time using the VRBO app and I was pleasantly surprised. I had some issues with the check-in, the email with the code to enter the house ended up in my spam folder but the owner quickly responded and assisted me. I would definitely stay there again. The location is great and the resort is quiet and clean.

The condo was adequate for my family of 5. The only hidden cost was that you are required to pay $20 for use of a key fob/key card for access to front gate.

Perfect stay in beautiful Emerald Island

We have stayed at EI before so being able to find a townhouse for this stay was a delight. Some get tired inside but Lou’s townhouse is well looked after, everything has been renewed, tiled and laminate flooring makes it easy to clean, new TVs, comfy lounge, all the cookware you could want and more. We wanted for nothing, with parking right outside the door. Community pool just couple of minutes stroll through manicured grounds was always empty. Though we arrived at 1am due to missed connections the gatehouse staff were welcoming, issued our keycard and the property has a code lock door so we were in and felt safe and at home immediately. Resort is ten minutes from animal kingdom and 20 minutes from magic kingdom parking lot, Walmart and Publix less than ten minutes away. Close to everything yet once you cross the bridge onto Emerald Island and the lush landscaping it feels an escape from the bustle of theme parks. Commend Lou for maintaining a great property. We would love to return.

Although I was very excited for this vacation, many of the aspects of the property just fell short. The promised land line was nowhere to be found, so we had to use our Canadian plans to communicate. The clothes washer was broken, as was the dishwasher. When we communicated with the host it took days for a response, and the property manager didn’t stay long enough to hear the washer spin cycle and deemed it “functioning”, though when it spun it sounded like the house was going to fall down. Garbage has to be out by 6 am, which is as far from “vacation” as one could be I think. The beds were covered in a mattress protector that crinkled like rubber sheets, and the beds were so tightly jammed in that we could not walk between the bed and the closet if the door was open. It wasn’t all bad though- the home is spacious, the kitchen had great pans and utensils, and the community pool was cute. There’s a sign saying we couldn’t turn the a/c below 73, so sleeping was hard. All in all, the problems definitely impacted our vacation, but once they are fixed it will make for an amazing vacation house.
