BYO Corkscrew!
The property is in a neighborhood location with great food within walking distance. Good thing because the kitchen is minimally stocked. There is only a small air fryer and one cooking plate. We had to buy instant coffee as there is only a hot water kettle. There are wine glasses, but no corkscrew to be found. Beds are full size and made with just a flat sheet and comforter. Flat sheet would not stay in place and ended up every night off the bed. Mattresses are extremely firm. Master bedroom has zero place to put clothing, no drawers, no closet, one hanger on the wall. We stacked clothes on top of small countertop. Small ants were all over the floors in every room. Great features are the Toto toilets with heated seats, great water pressure, beautiful patio view and sauna outside. Emails for checking in all arrive in Japanese, sometimes with translation, but some not. Thank heavens for Google translate. Nothing was a show stopper, just a bunch of little annoyances that made it the least favorite of every house we have ever rented.
