Superb 32 square meters studio in a traditional Parisian building with access to a private garden. Partial separation between the living area and the rest.
Design apartment, modern bathroom, central heating, Wi-fi, cable TV, CD player, modern fitted kitchen, induction stove, microwave oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. Beautiful bedding for 2 or 4 people: A large bed + a sofa bed. Linen provided. Dishes and cookware provided.
A lively area: many good restaurants, wine bars, galleries, organic market, grocery stores open in the evening, concert halls, cinemas, theaters. Several parks and the lovely Batignolles garden with its 300-year-old trees at walking distance.

Cozy (yet spacious) apartment

Everything was great.The studio was bigger than I expected. (Other hosts take pictures with a wide angle. This wasn't the case here. I expected the bed to be 1,40 m wide but it is at least 1,80 m, probably 2 m.) I was there only with my daughter but I think it is a lot of space even for a family of 4.We had a warm welcome with all informations. There is a booklet with detailed guidance what to do in the neighbourhood. Also books about Paris, flyers, a metro plan...And we found jam, milk, cheese and orange juice as a welcome gift in the fridge.One out of four evenings we heard the neighbours and/or people from upstairs, but overall it is a very quiet area and we felt completely safe in the streets.Groceries and the metro (we mostly went to "Rome") are close.Thanks a lot to Catherine and John for beautiful days in Paris!

A beautiful oasis in Paris

We were so delighted with our apartment in our stay in Paris. It was beautifully arranged, with the owners providing all essentials and it included a lovely patio just outside our door. The best feature was the neighborhood—quiet and friendly. We could walk to a morning espresso or pick up groceries in a 2 minute walk! In Paris! Highly recommended. Catherine is a lovely helpful hostess.

Comfortable studio for 4 in quiet and nice area

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable studio with garden access. It is located in a pleasant and quiet area with proximity to many bakeries, cafes, restaurants and markets. The studio is close to three metro stations so it's easy to get around with public transport.

Fantastic place, good location, kind owner

We found this place to be nearly perfect in every way. Centrally located, but quiet. Courtyard in the middle was extremely relaxing. They provide everything you could possibly ask for. Nice water pressure, good lighting, nice desk and pretty sizable closet for such a small little place. GREAT sky lights and natural lighting. They even provided laundry soap and Nespresso pods :)

Cute unit in wonderful neighborhood

Catherine is a fantastic host! She lives in the main house and has always been available for us. Her place is small but well organized with a kitchen. Sofa bed is very comfortable! The area is filled with amazing cafes, restaurants and stores. Very walkable and locals neighborhood. There is a nearby laundromat which we really liked as it was gloomy and raining during our stay. We really liked her garden and enjoyed few meals in it. With all the hustle and bustle, her place is surprisingly peaceful! Thank you Catherine for having us.

Just Perfect in Every Way!

This apartment has it all! We were looking for something good for a vacationing couple that was close to the Metro line, close to all attractions and museums in the city center, safe day and night, walkable to shops and restaurants and offered Parisian charm! Catherine's place gave us all we wanted. The apartment is super clean, well-stocked with everything we needed and then some, like a Nespresso maker with chocolate and fresh milk! Catherine was a great communicator and made our travel to and from CDG with her instructions. We even managed a day trip to Normandy thanks to the great location and accessibility to the rail. Highly recommend

It was the perfect place for a home base. Close to metro stops, great food (I mean it is Paris). Shot is so kind and lovely. Such a wonderful experience. I’d love to come back. I took my mom and my daughter. My mom struggles with stairs so she especially loved how easy it was to get in (no stairs) and the garden to eat breakfast was amazing. Love loved it.

Lovely flat, great location

The flat was very clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed for our short [4 day] trip to Paris. It had everything we needed when we wanted to eat or drink in, and it was a lovely added bonus to have butter, milk, coffee pods and even home made jam supplied. It was nice to sit outside in the courtyard for a pre dinner drink. There are a couple of lovely bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants all within an easy short walk. The area felt very safe and calm after the full on tourist experiences of Paris. It is well situated for metro and bus routes and a short trip into Paris centre or the train stations. I would stay there when/if I go back to Paris and recommend it to anyone looking to book for a short holiday in Paris.

First time in Paris

Great property in a nice neighborhood. Even better hosts! I did not arrive until close to midnight but was still greeted with a smile. If you are a walker the flat is easy access to Lafayette Galleries, Arc d' Triumph, The Louvre, Moulin Rogue and Eiffel Tower. I would not hesitate to book again.

This choice was a total success.

We enjoyed a short stay in Paris. The accommodation was 10; spacious rooms for a family and well equipped. The relationship with Kat was exquisite (recommendations for any needs). We specially remember a “boulangerie” just a couple of minutes away to enjoy a delicious french “croisants”, bread, … The apartment is well connected (bus and metro) to visit Paris. Therefore, the choice was a total success.

Didn’t Want To Leave

Location: Within a 3min walk: cafes, restaurants, take-out, or groceries. Within a 10min walk: a park to sit and meditate, or to kick a ball around (which we purchased at Decathlon right across the street); local clothing and gift shops, metro or bus, more food (of course!), outdoor markets, more unique stores/workshops. Within 15min: St Lazare station for the high speed trains, Rue de Rome for the classical music lovers. The unit itself is clean, organized and well thought-out. We stayed for one week; worked well for 2 adults & 2 under 12 children. The garden is beautiful and quiet. We loved starting most mornings at the table outside with our fresh baked goods and drinks. The unit is dark enough for sleeping and keeping children asleep(!), and there are skylights for fresh air and natural light. The skylights and the double ceiling height make the studio feel like a cozy cottage in the middle of this close-to-everything neighbourhood. Since my kids wanted to play musical beds, I tried both beds and found the mattress and the bedding to be super comfortable. The only note I have is to bring slippers if you usually don't wear shoes inside. Catherine is a super host and just a lovely human. Her communication before and during the stay is quick and clear. She welcomed us with some breakfast essentials and gave us a walk through of the studio. She even went way above and beyond to help me sort out a courier nightmare. Would definitely return & recommend.

Paris garden Apartment

We recently spent two weeks on this apartment and loved every thing about it--the location, the amenities, and the owner. Montmartre is a truly Parisian neighborhood, with families, local boulangeries and grocery stores, and excellent restaurants. The apartment was well-equipped and the kitchen and bath had been updated. Catherine,the owner, lives in the complex and was always available to answer our questions. We loved every minute of our stay.

Beautifully kept apartment

Wonderful apartment in Montmarte.....easy walk to everthing. Several nice restaurants in the immediate area, and a beautiful bakery 1 block away. The unit is exactly as the owner said, and was very clean and had everything we needed. Owner and her husband were both very informative and helpful with transportation recommendations in the area. It is in a very quiet area, and also had two skylights which truly helped in cooling the unit down during a very hot summer. Would definitely stay there again! Merci, Madame Catherine!

Oasis in Paris

This ground floor apartment in the Batingnolles neighborhood of Paris is on a quiet street a block away from a small shopping district of unique mom and pop stores, restaurants, and bakeries, but you can be in the heart of downtown within a few metro stops. The apartment slept four comfortably and is very secure, in fact you pass through 3 exterior doors before you reach the door to the apartment. The apartment faces a courtyard, not the street. It I was stocked with everything we needed to cook, and there were tasteful paintings on the walls and tasteful books to browse. I would stay here again.

The studio was very clean and comfortable! Catherine thought of everything. As a mother traveling with a 3 large men, ages 17, 20, 55 it was a very well equipped. I was able to relax and enjoy Paris, wash clothes for the next leg of our travels, and enjoy a beautiful outdoor space with an amazing garden after a day of sightseeing. Close to metro stops and bus lines. I would highly recommend.
