If you're coming to Sequim for a getaway, indulge in this spectacular vacation home featuring a private hot tub, movie theater, fitness room, and pond. Stately and imposing, this home stands out with unique architecture and a profusion of windows. Pull into the driveway and take in the wooded surroundings. Then step inside and marvel at the pond surrounded by tropical greenery. Further inside, notice the distinctive decor and spaciousness. Relax in the living room on the stylish sofa, and bask in the natural light that filters in. Three sets of double glass doors open wide to create an open-air atmosphere. On chilly nights, warm up with a fire in the fireplace, which features a stainless steel facade.

The open-concept design creates expansion and a nice flow across the living/dining/kitchen areas. Create a culinary feast in the kitchen, which has plentiful counter space and storage, stainless appliances, and a center cooktop island. Gather at the dining table for eight, and enjoy your meal together with the soothing sound of running water from the pond just adjacent to you. After dinner, take a well-deserved soak in the private hot tub, or build a fire in the outdoor firepit.

This home offers many bonuses. Spend some time in the family room and catch a movie on the large TV after you make a selection from the DVD library. For a truly extravagant experience, have a movie night in the in-house theater. Lower the lights and sink into the plush leather seats - there's one for each of you - an enjoy a movie marathon. Choose from the available games for both kids and adults. If you don't want to let your workout routine slide while on vacation, visit the well-equipped fitness room. This home also offers a large laundry room with a stainless washer and dryer plenty of counter space for sorting and folding laundry.

Chances are you won't want to leave, considering all this home has to offer, but if you're in the mood to explore, there's plenty to do in the area. Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge is 18 miles away, and Dungeness River Audubon Center is only 15 miles away. Known as the 'Lavender Capital of North America' and rivaled only by France, Sequim boasts several lavender farms you can visit and a lavender festival every July. Sequim also offers a few art galleries and historic sites, like the New Dungeness Lighthouse and the Historic Dungeness Schoolhouse. If nightlife appeals to you, Seven Cedars Casino is only five miles away. Located less than a mile from the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Sequim Bay, this home offers wooded seclusion. In-town conveniences are close by, with grocery shopping just 12 miles away, and Olympic National Park is 68 miles away. Due to Sequim's close proximity to the Olympic Mountains, you'll reap the benefits of being protected from the typical rains the rest of the state gets, a phenomenon that's earned this town the title of 'Sunny Sequim.'

Whats with the no curtains
Place was amazingly unique. The hit tub and coy pond were so cool. The theater bulb is in desperate need of being replaced. The movies were all really green. The house is full of huge beautiful wondows however no curtains and in the middle of woods totally creepy. However if your looking for a scare stay perfect place. Nice but...
I imagine this would be a great place in warm weather. But not in 20 - 30 degree weather. The thermostats were difficult to figure out and the atrium where the koi ponds were made it even colder. There was also the fact this place was for eight people but didn't have enough dinnerware or glassware to accommodate six of us. And the coffee mugs were very small. Not all was bad. The theater room was cool...until we found out there was no cable...and this was Super Bowl weekend. 4 TV's and no cable. Luckily, we had a computer and figured out how to hook it up in the theater room and was able to catch the game.Overall, the place was disappointing. But the six of us have "make do" attitude and we made the best of it.Still, for the amount of money that my friends and I paid for this "premier" site, it wasn't at all that premier. Felt like it was a bait and switch. I would like a 25% refund because that's about how much we felt ripped off.

Weekend Getaway
Me, my sister, and our two boys chose this beautiful property for a relaxing weekend getaway. The house was pretty spectacular. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen, although we did have to hand wash any utensil or dish prior to using them because they were not clean, and things are a bit unorganized. But contrastingly, we really appreciated that everything we needed was available somewhere in the kitchen! The waterfall and fishes were a peaceful touch. The movie theater kept our boys well entertained. There were plenty of board games and it was fun playing hide and seek and dancing around the kitchen as we cooked meals together. The bedrooms were all nice, but it was very strange having no blinds or curtains anywhere in the house, especially the bedrooms for privacy reasons. It was hard not to feel like a possible scary movie scenario so we definitely didn't watch anything scary. We really enjoyed the fireplaces as it got pretty cold at night. The master shower was the most heavenly part of my weekend. All of the different water spouts and the in shower steamer provided some much needed relaxation that I really enjoyed. The downside was, the hot tub was un-usable due to needing to be cleaned. It appeared to be clean at first, we turned on the jets, went to take showers and change into bathing suits, then came back to a brown ring at the top that gave us the heebie-jeebies so we ended up not using it the rest of the weekend. We only stayed two nights so we didn't w

Unique vacation home.
This home was by far the most unique and amazing vacation home that my husband and I had ever been to. The indoor plants and goldfish pond were so fun to look at. The indoor hot tub among it all was especially spectacular. The property is very secluded with thick forest surrounding the home. The only issue we had was with the number of spiders inside the home. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful serene home
We had a wonderful stay in this unique and beautiful home. The main bedroom and bathroom were especially luxurious, offering a relaxing retreat. However, given the expansive layout of the house, a more thorough cleaning would be beneficial. On our first night, one of the bedroom fire alarms began beeping, which disturbed our kids' sleep. Thankfully, this issue was addressed promptly the next day. We were, however, disappointed that the theater room—a feature we had been excited about—was not functional during our stay. Additionally, the kitchen could use better organization and a more complete supply of cutlery and mugs. Despite these setbacks, our family truly enjoyed our time here, and the overall experience was pleasant.

A Memorable Stay in a Unique Home
The initial “wow” factor hit us as we explored the spacious rooms, each thoughtfully furnished and accommodated our group of seven (family sharing beds). The tropical garden, complete with waterfall and a goldfish-filled pool, added to the charm. There was a jacuzzi, too. However, there were a few aspects that deserve attention. Let’s start with the kitchen: While the overall cleanliness was acceptable, specific details disappointed us. Wine glasses with lip marks, cups, and silverware that weren’t properly cleaned—it was evident. A kitchen knife that had dark, oily grime looked like it had just cut a steak. The cooking tools, especially the spatula and knives, were way past their prime. The stove top worked, but only with older warped pots and pans—the new ones didn’t work with the induction stove. In the theater room, the projector needed a new bulb and a thorough cleaning. The washed-green movie picture and the lack of audio dampened our movie night—it doesn’t work. Managing multiple remotes (and constantly swapping batteries) was a minor annoyance. The waterfall, while impressive, was loud. If the water volume could be adjusted, it would be perfect. We discovered the switch on our last night (in room w/ desk), but we hesitated to turn it off, considering the fish. The jacuzzi ran 24/7, and we wondered if there was a way to turn it off. Privacy-conscious guests should note the house lacks curtains. A positive experience, but owners should give some more attention.

Refrigerator & Freezer do not work. Almost all plants are dead. Different couches.
I was extremely disappointed that we were not told the freezer no longer worker. I was pissed that we were not told the refrigerator hardly worked. We had over a thousand dollars worth of food brought with us that we ended up having to go buy ice to put in our Coolers. A person came out and checked the breaker and said nothing seemed wrong. She was nice and offered a cooler of her own and we told her we'd let her know if we needed it. The ponds were pretty mucky and almost every single plant is dead. The office room is set up differently with no TV and the living room has completely different couches. None of the photos or description have been updated in what seems like a long time. I can tell the plant that used to hang over the bridge walk way is out the back door in the over grown grass. There are sticker bushes everywhere, even hanging into the walkway. The house for the most part was clean. The communication was poor everytime I messaged. Our number was complaint and extreme disruption to our stay was the freezer and refrigerator.

I was nervous when I read prior reviews. the space was extremely clean when we arrived, The theater room was dated but what a blast to watch a movie on the big screen, The jungle room was amazing and we enjoyed the fish. Limited TV's but what the heck - so much else to do! Kitchen was modern with everything we needed. Would highly recommend

Overall, great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home and it was perfect for what me and my 3 friends were looking for. The house is definitely funky, but that is what we wanted and the pictures did a very accurate job of representing the overall home. The wifi worked great, we were able to use the home theater system, and the kitchen was stocked with all of the stuff we needed to cook dinner each night we were there. It is remote (about 45 minutes from Port Townsend), but, again, this is what we wanted. One thing to be aware of when booking though is that there isnt a single blind on any of the windows - so you will def be getting up with the sun, ha.

Not as presented or taken care of.
This place seemed to be a worn down model home with most items put in that are cheap and not functional. The theater room had an old projector the sound in the theater didn’t work. Wi-Fi didn’t work when we arrived. The house was not properly completely cleaned. Sound in the bathroom didn’t work. All the TVs are not connected. We saw a mouse in the theater room at night. Their where ants in the bathrooms , spiders in waterfall area. Freezer leaks water and doesn’t seal properly.

A good house .. but not a good Vacation home!!
Pros 1. Spacious House 2. Some unique things like indoor waterfall garden 3. Quite place 4. Big property with backyard and front yard. Cons: 1. No curtains or blinds on windows. So hard to sleep and no privacy 2. Cleaner has not done a good job in arranging the house( bathroom, kitchen etc) 3. Hot tub is not managed. Chlorine in hot tub was too much to use it. 4. Indoor waterfall could be unsafe for small kids 5. No way to connect music system as all speakers and electronics were old school. 6. You can use the theatre with existing DVDs 7. No wifi ( It was informed earlier)

Unexpectedly awful
The house was absolutely dirty. There was mouse poop all over the house including finding some on the bed and sheets. We spent the first day cleaning just to feel able to stay. The hot tub was off and dirty, the floors were sticky, the appliances were broken (only half the stove worked) and there was not one blind or curtain in the house. There was a multitude of other issues and although “Vacasa” (the company using VRBO) did refund the cleaning fee and half the cost of the rental, I will never use their company again. I think VRBO should rethink their partnership with Vacasa or at a minimum not allow their listings until major issues have been resolved.

Private home
The home was unique but definitely needs some love and attention. I appreciated the privacy and no one being around. Beautiful outdoors setup. Upon arrival the house smelled clean and looked clean so I was happy. Unfortunately, as I used the bathroom and kitchen I began to notice that dishes were dirty, the refrigerator looked like it wasn’t wiped out, and the floor had pee dribbles on it. Also, we went to get in the hot tub and there were ants crawling all over the outside. Also between the hot tub and wall there was a substantial amount of garbage just laying in there. The rest of the house just needs some dusting and updating, so much love could be put into this house to help make it cleaner. I enjoyed the setup of the house, although it is hard to get up and down the stairs in the waterfall/pond room. (No handrails). The GM was helpful when the key code stopped working, and over all the stay was a great experience. Just wish I didn’t pay fees for the hot tub when it is completely unusable. I have worked in hospitality for over 15 years and there is definitely improvements that could be made for a better guest experience.

It felt like an adventure
Coming onto the property at Arcadia Gardens felt full of glitz and glam! This sprawling rental was clean besides a terribly rancid smell coming from the kitchen sink drain and it drained very slow. As it turned out, the kitchen sink drain would almost ruined half of our trip. We realized by the end of the first day that the freezer was not working and we lost what we brought for frozen food. The theater room and hot tub provided lots of fun and entertainment. We were surprised that a house full of windows did not have any tint or curtains… So in the bedrooms we felt exposed. The house is unique, the property was gorgeous, and there was access to a very fun beach walk a few blocks down the road. Which we enjoyed very much. The Second day we were there, the sink kept getting backed up with water, and when we used the dishwasher, water started pouring out. While ferociously grabbing towels and scooping buckets of water out the kitchen window, I tried calling the emergency line for Vacasa. It took about 15 minutes to get a hold of a Vacasa rep who told us not to worry about washing dishes, a plumber wouldn’t make it out until the next day after we checked out. The next morning, the master shower seemed to back up, along with the bathroom sinks… This house didn’t seem to be able to accommodate a group of six for 2 days. We made lemons out of lemonade, we did enjoy our stay although it ended feeling pretty stressful And we were unable to use the kitchen the last half of our stay. There were also ants in the kitchen, so that was tricky with our food that was on the counter. The steam in the shower never worked, although until it backed up, the multi shower heads were very spa like. Overall I would rate this rental at a 2.5.

Mini vacation
I was kind of afraid to stay here based on other reviews but we decided to take a gamble and we weren’t disappointed, though there is definitely some things that need to be addressed. I saw previous people mentioned sticky floors and I will say the atrium had sticky floors due to the I think banana trees dripping a sap like substance. But it was beautiful and a really neat area. The floors around the rest of the house were fine. I think they are taking in to consideration the cleanliness of the house because we arrived to a fairly clean home with just a few tiny spots missed. I seen people saying the hot tub not working but thankfully it was when we stayed so hopefully that is another thing they are working on. The movie theater was a highlight for us and the instructions made it easy to operate. We had a movie night each night there. Everything seemed to be in working condition for us that we tried using. The waterfall made a lovely sound that was super enjoyable while in the hot tub. I will add that maybe a book about the house and where things are located/how things work at the entrance would be helpful for some. For example the waterfall switch is kinda hidden and some might not even see it or the lights for the ponds, and switches for fireplaces, etc. The location is beautiful and the driveway up to the house is magical. We enjoyed walking around the property looking for slugs. I definitely think wifi would be nice. It was definitely good to be disconnected but for safety reasons I think wifi or a landline is a must. I only had service when I stood on the giant rock out front. Lol And my last advice would be for blinds/shades/ curtains or something in the bedrooms at least. It was kind of strange feeling like someone could be watching you all night. All in all we had a great stay and a wonderful experience!

Akward place, weired setup
This is a unique place. nice property with a lot of potential. but it is slipping. There was some initial misunderstanding regarding the Jacuzzi being out of order. They fixed it, but didn't let the cleaning staff know. So it was filthy. had to be drained and cleaned. Staff came out that day and fixed the issue, but we were unable to sue the jacuzzi for the majority of the stay due to our schedule. Around the jacuzzi there is a ton of dirt and debris piled up. The Floors are sticky, there is a residue on them. so wear shoes. One of the bedroom closets had chunks of throwup that was not cleaned out, and continued to smell. The two bedroom wing has an issue with the thermostat's left half of the screen. The oven does not work, requires a looong time to reach temperature, and does not keep it. The microwave oven works well. Bring your own spices and condements. the kitchen is not stocked. The kitchen does have good selection of silverwear and plates, and cookwear (pots and pans). The biggest plus of this accomodation is the open space concept, and the large property because the kids had a great time running around. But because there are no shades any where expect to wake up early.

We deserve a refund. The property had multiple TVs, outside of the dated theater room projector - none of them worked. The hot tub was not working. Bathrooms and beds had clumps of hair. There were various types of ants in the dining room, bedrooms and bathrooms. No wi-fi, minimal cell service, and no land line. That is a safety concern if there was an emergency. House needed repairs as well.

movie theater, atrium and hot tub
I see evidence of the owners making improvements after prior feedback. There are oven mitts, the dishwasher worked fine, there is a TV in the master bedroom, new fish seem to be in the koi pond, didn't see any mice while we were there for our few days. A couple things are amiss. I'd recommend advertising loud and proud that there is no internet (or try again to obtain it as appears neighbors have strong enough wifi to be seen as available at this house). It's ok to plan to be remote, but in today's world with many working remotely, tough to be in a home with no internet in addition to spotty cell service. There was significant algae in the koi pond. We didn't keep the waterfall on as it smelled musty/mildewy (though had a lovely sound and the fish seemed to really enjoy it). The speakers in the movie theater didn't work (very quietly only from the front two speakers) and I was so bummed! I love movies and fully planned to sit down to one every night in this awesome theater after our long hiking days. The other thing is that the TV in the room off the atrium didn't work either and there was no DVD player in the master bedroom. We ended up borrowing another DVD player for the master bedroom and sat on the bed together every night to watch one as the only other space to watch was the hot tub and I could not have stayed in there for a couple hours! :) Overall, very clean though appears the plants in the atrium may be dripping a little sap type liquid making it sticky in spots. Really cool property, but just a couple things aren't working as intended it seems.
