Beautiful new home built by myself 6 years ago. In the heart of the beautiful village of Chelsea Quebec. Near all the amenities, gatineau park, nordik spa, restaurants, stores and much more. Biking path is right near the house and leads to the village.

Perfect getaway

Everything about the Joly house was great. My best friend and I shared the house for a long weekend vacation. Comfortable beds and sofa, well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and many thoughtful touches throughout. Easy access to Nordik Spa, Gatineau Park and Ottawa.

Convenient countryside retreat

Very close to Gatineau river trail. Just 15 mins from downtown Ottawa. Great kitchen set up. We had a great time.

Cozy place in heart of Chelsea

Accommodations were exactly as listed. Everything was clean and orderly. The host was very accessible and helpful. The location was perfect, close to super market, cafes and restaurants. Would recommend!

Gatineau Park Hiking

We are 2 couples aged 65+ who enjoyed hiking through Gatineau Park, and our Vrbo location was an easy 8 min drive to the entrance. Highly recommend The Joly Home for comfort, space, cleanliness, communication with owner & only steps away from grocery/restaurants/shopping. We'll be back for sure

Cozy Chelsea Getaway

The Joly home is very comfortable, cozy and clean. The host was friendly and took care to ensure we had everything we needed. The house is very well-equipped for a weekend getaway and is just minutes away from Gatineau Park, cafes, shops, pubs, and Le Nordik Spa, so it was perfect for our weekend of cycling and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Home away from home

This is a totally relaxing home fully stocked with everything you could need. We like to cook at home some nights and we were happy that the kitchen had a range of herbs and spices plus all the utensils one could reasonably need. And, the house is in very close proximity to restaurants, coffee shops, hiking, etc. Highly recommended. Our Goldendoodle loved it, too!

The Perfect Choice

We so enjoyed our 4 night stay in the Jolyhome. Wonderful little house in such a central location to everything in Chelsea…super clean and comfortable…kitchen well equipped..lovely bathroom upstairs and such comfy beds! It was also so nice to meet the owner who was there when we arrived….and learn more about his two rental properties. We will definitely plan to stay here again when we return to Chelsea for our next family visit.

Great house and vacation

The house is well-designed , very clean and spacious. It is a short 15-20 minute drive to downtown Ottawa. There is a nice grocery and a few restaurants and shops within walking distance. Downtown Chelsea and Gatineau Park are a few minute drive away. And there is a fantastic, very long crushed stone rail trail along the river that is about a block away and is excellent for running, biking, and walking.

My spouse and I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights here. It was a perfect location for us. The home is located in a quieter area and was a very nice break from the city. Going into Gatineau or Ottawa was a very short trek. The pictures on VRBO don’t do the home as much justice as it deserves. Everything you could want was provided. Christian was a pleasure to deal with as well as very accommodating. He was very quick to reply with any questions we had. In my opinion staying here would be perfect for 1 person, 2 people or even a family of 4. This was my 1st time using VRBO and because the experience was so good I would definitely use it again.
