We are a Canadian family that fell in love with the island and decided to invest in a great property that is perfectly located to receive travelling guests.

We have two young kids and we really enjoy the beaches and restaurants on the island. The island is also very safe and the people are very welcoming and friendly. We quickly made new friends on the island.

A big reason why this property is so great is because it is on the amazing island of Sint Maarten. It is a safe island with great people, lots of great restaurants, many world renowned beaches, many activities of all kinds and many cultures. It also has a decent airport that is expanding, decent roads, affordable goods and services, good internet and a strong supportive community.

Villa Domila is perfectly located. It is only 10 min from the airport, 5min from the busy hub of Simpson Bay, 25 min from Orient beach, 10min from Philipsburg and yet it is very serene and quiet. The Pelican Key community has no passthrough traffic and hence the traffic is light and slow which means many people take strolls along the street. The Villa itself is on a hidden side road and in a dead end which makes it hidden from the main road and secluded. The big grocery/liquor store is only about 15min walk, there's more than 2 sand beaches within 10 min walk, There is many restaurants within 15min walk. The world renown Buccaneers Beach Bar is only about 10min walk away and offers free shuttles as well as a happy hour every night from 5-7.

The Villa has everything you need if you decide to just stay in place. The morning sun rises over the mountain behind and sets over the ocean in front. The sun is not blinding in the morning which makes for great deck breakfast. It is hot and sunny during the day which makes the pool enjoyable. In the evening you can eat supper and relax while watching the sun set of the horizon, often while cruise ships are leaving.

The temperature is almost always 29 Celsius year round. Hot but not unbearable.

The villa has a clean modern style and we are gradually updating more and more parts of it as we go. We recently purchased all new linens, bedding and kitchenware. We try to always get the best quality items.

We have the unique advantage of offering free airport pick up and drop off as well as coordinating for a car rental to be ready at arrival if you so wish.

We are not some big company running hundreds of listings. This is our only property and we care a lot about your experience. We are very responsive and we want to work with you whenever anything unexpected arises.
