Great stay
It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The hot tube was easy to use and the fishing was great. I was able to fish right from the dock and caught about 13 blue catfish. I will be going back again.

Our family enjoyed our stay in the lakeside home. The kids enjoyed the kayak and lilly pad. The kids fished off of the dock. Home was comfortably appointed.

We had a few rainy days but had a couple of really nice days. Temperatures in the 80's in July was wonderful. This place is so beautiful an relaxing just what we needed! Perfect place to Land
Our family needed a short get away and this place was perfect. You could enjoy the lake the hot tub and corn hole. We roasted marshmallows and had a great time! Thank you for the nice stay!!

They property is nice and very well kept…The rooms are nice but beds were too soft it was like sleeping on a pillow which was nice from some people in group…overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back and recommend to others

We take several trips a year and this property listing was accurate. The home and yard was nice. Big 8 person table. The living room would not have seated 6 people. All the appliances were clean and worked. We would rebook.

Deck need some TLC
property was good other than the deck needing a lot of TLC. Wished there had been Kleenex provided only vrbo property that I’ve used without them. And then the rental company kept texting and calling me to pay a deposit for a dog I don’t have. Contacted the owner said that wasn’t for me and she had contacted them, but they were still calling after I left the property. Not the owners fault but the rental agent. Beds are good nice size property, great instructions for entering the property. Lake access is great if you have people wanting to swim

Cozy home as advertised
Clean and comfortable property with lovely views of the sunset. The weather was cold but my kids still went in the lake, kayaked, played cornhole and took the lily pad out. They also loved the hot tub and played Scrabble and Uno. The house is cute, well stocked and well cared for. LOVED the large table, which makes it easy to eat together. We had a slight issue trying to play a movie (no batteries in the remote; we found some but still couldn't get it to play), but a minor irritation. Would definitely recommend to families. Even without warm weather we found plenty to do and enjoyed our stay.

To start, fyi, I booked this place 9 months prior to our trip. The price apparently fluctuates and I could have gotten it for $100 less per night had I waited to book it just a month before…. This place is also non-refundable. Other than that, the place is nice, and once I emailed them about the jacuzzi being too cold, I had a response within 10 mins. It was a quick fix and she walked me thru how to reset it. With regards to fishing, catch some shad using a cast net and when we used it as bait, we caught a lot of catfish. It’s best to fish from the upper deck as there is more room to move around. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful Location - some areas need attention
The good: the location was very peaceful and in a nice neighborhood. There was a convenience store close by and it is not too far from grocery stores. Plenty of cooking pots & pans in the kitchen. The common spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms were nice sizes. The shaded back porch and boat upper deck were our favorite places. What needs improvement: The hot tub - the first day, we couldn't get the heat to work and eventually our contact instructed us how and where to flip a breaker. Unfortunately, the water was filthy, so much so that we chose not to get it in it the rest of the week. Towards the end of our week, we realized we could have requested they come clean it but by that point it was too late. So, basically, we never got to use to the hot tub due to its malfunction and uncleanliness. We ran out of kitchen trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels on our first full day at the house, and requested more from the hosts. It took them a day to bring us more, so we bought our own. The bed in the primary bedroom was so soft and unsupporting, we sank completely into it, like a burrito!
