Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
really wish we stayed somewhere else !!!
listing can be confusing and misleading on the size of the building, the proximity of the location to the beach and other amenities/stores and such, and the location itself (listing says it’s in pineola and it’s not!) it was very confusing to find the correct location, the whole property was a maze of small roads and tight corners and the driveway was very steep and hard to deal with if you are driving a manual. first thing we had to do when we got there was kill a black hornet that was inside, the water heater didn’t work the first day/night so we had to take freezing cold showers (was told we were going to get compensated but it’s been a week and still nothing), there was blood on the front of the outside of the toilet, there was popcorn under the bed and dust that suggests that it’s never been cleaned down there, the bedroom carpet is horribly stained and the bedside table was incredibly sticky, there was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower but they were in clear travel size bottles so you didn’t know what brand (which if you have hair like me that’s very important) and with writing that looked like a kindergartener wrote it and looked very unprofessional (thankfully I brought my own), the people who stayed before us did not take the trash out so it was already full and terribly smelly when we got there, I had moths eat a silver dollar sized hole through a piece of clothing that was in the closet (it didn’t have the hole prior to this stay), and the guest contact was not very professional at all and felt like she had an attitude. overall, I wish I looked into this place more and stayed somewhere else, would NOT stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.
