Summary:
Stunning 180° Views w/ Hot Tub & Pool. Immerse yourself in this leafy setting with incredible mountain views, yet just minutes from downtown Canmore. This lovely 2 bed 2 bath condo offers exemplary space in a fabulous resort complete with indoor pool, hot tub and & the beautiful One Wellness Spa. Cook up storm in the luxury kitchen or throw a steak on the BBQ on the undercover patio. Snuggle up in front of the fireplace (bedroom & living room) and watch a movie. Plan your mountain adventure!

The Space:
Located 15 minutes from Banff, and approximately one hour from Calgary, this home away from home comes with a fully equipped kitchen and two lovely covered patios with BBQ and seating to enjoy the mountain air. Both bedrooms offer private ensuite bathrooms with scrumptious soft towels, king beds and luxury hotel linens. We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee and locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!). Complementary heated underground parking provided.

Guests have access to all parts of the condo, and all amenities in Solara Resort & Spa

The Neighborhood:
Solara Resort and Spa is located in the main tourist condo area. The local bus is nearby, with connections to a bus to Banff , Lake Louise and Calgary. If you come by airport shuttle the stop is a couple of minutes up the road. This is a licensed, legal condo, so your booking is assured. Coffee shops, liquor store, general store etc. are all 5 minutes walk away. If you need a little pampering, One Wellness spa is gorgeous, and is located within Solara Resort. There are restaurants, coffee shops and bars close by, see our Welcome Book for details.

Getting Around:
Free local Roam transit is available within Canmore, with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (fares apply). Legacy Trail bike path to Banff is literally a one minute ride away. Canmore is highly walkable, with dedicated paths for both foot traffic and bikes all over town. Bikes can be rented from Gear Up, a 15 minute walk from Solara.

We live in town and will happily offer as much or as little support as you need during your stay. Talk to us for advice on hiking, biking, skiing, restaurants etc. If you need specific equipment for your stay that you don't want to buy, get in touch and we'll see if we can help.

Great u it for a getaway

Very clean unit with well appointed kitchen. Short walk to downtown. So very grateful this unit did not have any air freshners. A bonus for people with sensitivities to scent!

Great home base

This condo is very nice and is in a great location. There were 4 of us (all adults) so the living/dining area was a little bit tight. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit and they even included laundry pods. The grill was small but worked great. Our only problem was the freezer which was broken and they were unable to get anyone over to fix it during our 3 night stay so we had to run back and forth from the first floor for ice. The frig itself worked great and was spacious. All in all, we had a great stay in this condo.

Well appointed unit in Solara Resort

We had an excellent stay at this 2 bedroom unit in the Solara resort in Canmore. It is perfectly located a short walk from the downtown with close access to the highway for easy access to Banff and Lake Louise. From the moment we booked Jane from FairShare who manage the property was responsive and answered all of my questions immediately. The unit itself was perfect for two couples and two daughters (both 20) to sleep on the pullout. The kitchen was well equipped and spotless as was the rest of the unit. I was a little bummed with the pool/hot tub as they are indoors and pretty small and dark. I would say they are fine for kids but I thought it would be a little nicer compared to the development but not a big deal. Overall this is a perfect unit and great manager.

What you see is what you get (and then some!)

Very prompt communication with Joan (property manager) - followed up to ensure all was going well. Condo very spacious and good layout. Beautiful view of the mountains from the 2 decks. Very quiet building. Location is excellent to walk into town center, close to golf courses, etc. Very happy with our stay!
