About this property

Cottage C with Large Private Patio

Cottage C is a large studio cottage at the back of the property that has a charming front porch. Each studio has a king bed w/ upgraded linens and a luxurious throw. There is a living area w/ a couch, coffee table, TV w/ cable & wifi and a kitchenette w/ a mini fridge and coffee station w/ fresh ground coffee. The full bath has a walk in shower and a large closet. The outdoor patio accessed from the back of the cottage through french doors has a table and chairs to enjoy the private outdoor space. There is also a group space with additional seating towards the cottage entrance. Cottage C is a large detached private suite with access to onsite shared laundry room.
The Rogue Valley really is unique. The mild climate, idyllic natural setting, and relative isolation have made the valley a popular retirement destination. But it has also attracted families looking to move here for the small-town quality of life, as well as adventure seekers looking to take advantage of all the outdoor activities.

For the adventure seekers, the Rogue Valley is a virtual mecca. Hiking and mountain biking trails abound; in Jacksonville trails start right in town and offer miles of hilly and forested adventure. There are plans underway to build a trail system that spans from south of Grants Pass to the Jacksonville Forest Park trail system, where it meets the “JackAsh Trail” in Jacksonville, to provide a continuous trail from Jacksonville to Ashland.

There are beautiful campgrounds close by in every direction, from coastal parks to area lakes to riverside sites. You’ll find world-class fishing and rafting along the Rogue River among other area rivers, and places such as Applegate Lake and Emigrant Reservoir that offer paddle boarding and kayaking, as well as waterslides, fishing and motorized boat activities.

Holly

comfortable, clean and quiet with a great location

the place was very comfortable with a nice atmosphere. It is in a great location, easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and winery tasting rooms. Sandy was kind and available for anything we may have needed.

Lovely property

Perfect Location, you can walk to restaurants, shopping, Britt Festival and hiking trails. We rented both the A & C units. Both units were clean and the décor was very nice and modern. Only downside is from the C unit you can hear traffic noise from the main road.

6/10 Okay

Sharon

Welcoming and responsive owners, quiet at night, able to walk to town, and a cafe next door.

The keyless entry was so convenient for two people! The bed was super comfy, and it was very quiet there at night despite being in town. Beautiful decor, new, very clean furnishings. Not having a waterproof counter or sink in the studio kitchenette was very inconvenient and impractical, having to use the bathroom sink. The ceiling lights are too bright. It would be really nice if at least one of the doors had a screen so we could open it for the cool evening temps and not use the AC.

My wife Sandy and I have lived in the Rogue Valley for over a decade. We live in Jacksonville and are a few blocks from where the cottages are located, We like to hike the Britt trails and enjoy everything that Jacksonville has to offer.

The restaurants downtown are wonderful and we have many local vineyards with tasting rooms in town.
