Comfortable furnishings, a smart TV and a long front verandah for drinks or a spot to read in the sun are a big plus. In particular you might set aside a night for a special meal out - choose from Bannisters Pavilion, the iconic Rick Stein at Bannisters or Gwylo, the popular fusion restaurant.
A short drive north, the Historic Milton is well worth a trip, with its selection of boutique shops, galleries, antique shops and cafes. Or head south to Ulladulla CBD for its fishing harbour and further amenities such as larger supermarkets, a cinema or Funland for the kids.
