This 4,000 sq. ft. home is in the new Windsor at Westside gated community (sister community to Windsor Hills) and just minutes from Disney. 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, with 4 en-suites. Pool area with heated, SOUTH-FACING pool and in-ground Jacuzzi. Game room with seating, pool table and foosball table. We have several homes side-by-side, perfect for large family reunions and groups.

Good times

The property is Ok. Though some things were missing (e.g. area rug in living room). The resort is excellent and the house is very close to general facilities. Overall good stay.

Disappointing Stay in a Poorly Maintained Property

We stayed at this property for a family vacation near Disney World, and while the location was ideal with an easy commute to the parks, our overall experience was disappointing. The house was in poor condition and not what we expected from the listing that described it as a "high quality" home. Upon arrival, we found the house to be filthy—grimy floors, dust on baseboards, dirty switch covers, and stained furniture. The pool table had a torn felt and visible drink stains, and the kitchen had dirty dishes put away in cabinets. The furniture was heavily worn and the walls had patched holes that weren't repainted. Maintenance was also a concern, with the upstairs HVAC malfunctioning twice during our stay. The host, April, was a good communicator, but given her location in NY, she was unable to assess the state of the house personally. Although a cleaning crew was sent, I ended up cleaning the house myself, scrubbing floors and washing dishes to ensure the space was livable. Additionally, there was a 3% credit card fee, which wasn't invoiced until 3 months after the reservation. After staying in many vacation rentals, this was by far the worst experience we've had. I cannot recommend this property unless significant improvements are made to its cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition.

Very nice time

The home was immaculately clean. Yes, the furniture was definitely well used, but in good shape and we had 4 little kids with us so we were fine with having sofas that could take little kids crawling on them! The pool was sparkling clean and location was perfect. What I didn’t love: the owners disabled the automatic ice maker/dispenser which required filling up ice cube trays every morning and evening like it was 1982! Super annoying, and honestly, I have never had a VRBO that did that. Also, they advertised two strollers as being available with the house. Every tire on both strollers was so flat that they were both unusable, despite our best efforts to inflate them. In terms of the resort itself, it was fine for our purposes. The houses on either side of us were unoccupied, which made it nice and quiet. We could hear some thumping music carryover from other houses but not past 10. We found management to be responsive to our questions.

Ideal for a big group

The house was exactly as listed. It was clean and ready for us -with the pool heat and the grill we requested. There are beach towels for the pool, extra towels in a linen closet, 2 coffee makers -great when you have a lot of coffee drinkers. It's in a good location. The beds were comfortable. They're are even high chairs and strollers for groups with littles. All in all our two families had a great stay.

Enjoyable

My family of 15 went and had a good time. There was only some minor issues but didnt affect our stay. There was no wash clothes or towels for just the kitchen. The pool guy came on Friday afternoon and we were just getting home and couldnt get into pool for 2 hours. Would have been nice if they would wait until check out day. The washer sounds awful and should be replaced. The 2 kids room were not decorated like the pictures and kids were a little disappointed. The game room is nice but if you have little kids upstairs, you cant use it. We enjoyed that we could use the garage. I would stay here again.

Extended Family Holiday

This is a great house for a larger group. The shared spaces downstairs worked well for socialising in a large group. The shared space upstairs, with the pool table, was a hit with everyone too.

Best Family Destination

Had an awesome time with family in Orlando. The house easily accommodated our small family of 16 in regards to sleeping arrangements and eating meals together. We never felt cramped or on top of one another. Our host responded to all of our questions immediately! We will definitely stay here again ❤️. The whole process was smooth so a plus when you have a large group which is hectic enough. It was awesome knowing that at least that was taken care of!

Great experience

Except for a minor hiccup on providing the incorrect address 1821 Gobi instead of 1845, we had a wonderful time at the property. Once the address issue was straightened out by the weekend answering service..... she was exceptional by the way.... everything was seamless and as advertised. My entire family commented that the home was perfect for our needs. Plenty of towels.... good wifi..... grill was so clean..... and the pool and spa were perfect to relax. Thank you so much for an outstanding experience.

Our stay

The house was very nice we had a few issues the dryer in the property didn't always work the switch was very fussy if you didn't get it just right it didn't heat. The one in garage works great. Also the kitchen pans where old some handles weren't tight. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking the kitchen doesn't have a lot of bowls to prepare things. Over all we loved the house it was beautiful.

House was as expected. Hot tub was warm not hot but texted pool company and they came out right away to raise the temperature. Would rent this house out again for our annual Florida golf vacation.

Rental Unit in Need of an Upgrade

Location, size, resort all good. Unfortunately, things in this unit were broken (2 TV’s didn’t work) Repair person came and said he would bring a new tv the next day - he never came back. Kitchen cookware was limited and old. Fancy wine opener was broken. Washer and dryer are old. Toilet paper holder in master bedroom coming off wall. Worst was the pool. Two bathing suits ruined by pool water - color bled out. Granddaughters died hair turned gray. Lanai screen was torn and furniture uncomfortable. The rating of 3 really applies to the convenience of the location, amenities at the resort, and size of house.

Nice space but needs some loving (attention to detail).

Nice and spacious home with numerous and decent bathrooms. Towels are small, thin, and few. Not enough pool towels for entire family of 9. Lights in master bedroom were very dim and several upstairs bedrooms had nonfunctioning lights. Mattresses were reasonably comfortable, but pillows were flat, and no extras to be found. Mini crib was nice, despite one of the legs having a major crack in it, but did not have any sheets. This was difficult when we got arrived past bedtime, after a long day of travel, and had to improvise by stripping a bed and using the top sheet. Heated pool, and spa are very comfortable and feel (relatively) private. Their homes are large, but very close together. However, we did feel there was enough privacy for our comfort. *** One awesome feature we did not discover until the day before our departure was that the sliding glass doors, into the lanai, slide open DOUBLE wide, giving a wonderful breeze and outdoor/indoor experience. Short walk to Water park with lazy river— lots of fun for the entire family, even grandma and grandpa!

Great place for family vacation!!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Tons of room for our family. Everyone was very happy with their very comfortable beds. We swam every night after a day at the Disney parks. We went to splash pad and lazy river across the street. Nice change from pool. April was available at all times to answer any questions or just check on our stay.

The home was great& definitely lived up time the listing.

The owners were thorough and efficient with their communication. They addressed any concerns I had immediately. The property manager was awesome as well. We had a little scare where the EMT were called out but thankfully it was not anything to get in an uproar about. I say that to say the area is close to the hospital and fire department and their response was quick if any emergency arises. I will definitely recommend this home again. Thanks April & Bobby

Best house EVER!!

We had a party of 11 … 5 adults , 4 teens, and a 9 and 7 yo. Two of the teens had their own room. Checking in was easy. The house was clean , Bedrooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable. I liked that there weren’t just twin beds in three of the rooms and the teens slept comfortably . Kitchen had everything we needed . The clubhouse was perfect. The two younger children enjoyed the pool and arcade and the older boys enjoyed the basketball court. They went everyday. I didn’t need to call maintenance not one time . April was very attentive and quick to answer any questions. When we go back to Orlando I would love the opportunity to stay here again. The only thing I would recommend is something on the wall behind fridge door so door would not hit wall. Thank you for your hospitality Sincerely, The Hairstons

Nice Spacious Stay for Large Families or Groups

Property Management (April) was very friendly, responsive and helpful. Checkin/out was convenient. Home was clean, comfortable, and spacious for 15 people. Private pools at the homes are side by side, so there's little privacy but it didn't have a significant impact on our fun. If you're on a tight budget, expect additional fees from listed price. The host site charges a service fee of $431. The hot tub is attached to the pool so expect an additional fee to heat the hot tub ($285). Also expect an additional fee to use the grill ($85). The home is located across the street from clubhouse but within very short walking distance. Take your own floating devices for the lazy river which is very fun for the family. If you're a stickler about security and choosing a gated community for that purpose, beware that the entrance gate does not require a code. It opens freely and pedestrian gates were unlocked. Wasn't a problem for us but good to know. Parking is a bit crazy in the large neighborhood with cars lining the street. Large vehicles may have trouble traveling between them sometimes. Overall, we had a great stay at this home and will consider visiting again!
