About this property

Paradise in the Rockies- pool-hot tub-beach+walk downtown Invermere

Heron Point is located directly in front of Kinsmen Beach and just a 5 minute walk from charming downtown Invermere …surrounded by the majestic Rockies.
It’s a Piece of Heaven in the Rockies with everything you love including a beautiful pool and hot tub with a glorious view of the lake and mountains as well as a gym to work out in. There are hiking trails to explore as well as various waterfalls and a 30km bike trail to ride on. This is nature’s playground!
There is kayak and paddle board rental on the beach out front as well as guided or self guided river float adventures.
The town is friendly and quaint with a focus on community and local business. For example they have an Art Gallery on the beach with local artists that do workshops. There are also outdoor movies and free stage events all summer long at Pot Park.
There is an amazing bakery with fresh treats daily and the best fresh coffee. There are many restaurants for every taste and for those who enjoy their own cooking a local Village Grocery Store and Market as well as Sobey’s and Freshco.
Invermere is a wonderful holiday experience like Banff but more quaint and with a lake and a beach, local restaurants and shops and less tourists. If you’ve never been you won’t know what you’re missing! I love it here and would love to share this little piece of Heaven with you!

Great location

It was a Smokey stay due to the wild Fires on the mountain. We made the best of a Smokey situation. The Condo is perfect, great location, nice deck with a good BBQ. Lisa is a wonderful host. Thank you.

Disappointed

We have stayed at this condo multiple times before and unfortunately this year was disappointing. The pictures make the condo seem like it is lake front but it does face the parking lot. The condo is not child friendly and the condo was not cleaned properly.

Great location. Wonderful condo

Located just at the end of Invermere's main street, this condo was so convenient. We could walk to shops and restaurants. The condo itself has all the comforts of home. Lisa was so helpful and always available if we had a question. It was the perfect place to spend a week golfing and enjoying the sights of Invermere and area. We will definitely rent this condo again.

Favorite New Getaway

We were very impressed with this property. It is beautifully furnished and spacious. The kitchen was extremely well appointed with top of the line cookware and dinnerware as well as every utensil you could possibly want. We like to cook, even when we are away, so this was fantastic. The condo's gym, pool and hot tub were nice features. The location, at the end of the town's main street, made it walkable to downtown shops, grocery stores, parks and the beach. We totally loved the property and Invermere itself. So much to see and do. We will definitely be back.

About the host

Originally from Saskatchewan, our family has been coming to the valley annually since I can remember! We have found our piece of heaven right here in Invermere at Heron Point. Lounging in the hot tub, peacefully surrounded by mountains and lake, (rarely a mosquito!)I have to pinch myself! From Sasktoon, it is a 9 hour drive and about a 3 hour drive from Calgary. So worthwhile!
I remember the first time I came to the valley in our little car with 3 kids jammed in the back! It was a getaway we looked forward to every year! Now, with our condo at Heron Point, we’d like to share this little piece of heaven with you!
Wishing you many happy adventures! Lis

Why they chose this property

Heron Point is perfectly situated in front of a lovely beach and has a pool and hot tub with a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. There is an amazing local bakery a short walk away! You can walk to Downtown Invermere, quaint and lovely, with gorgeous flowers everywhere, Invermere is known for its focus on local food, locally owned shops and restaurants, artists and musicians and of course the renowned Saturday Farmer’s Market. It is a friendly community with plenty of community events like ‘free stage’ and ‘movies after dark’ at Pot Park.
There are countless reasons to visit this little piece of heaven!

What makes this property unique

Something I love about Invermere is that everything and everyone is pleasant. Somehow annoying crowds of stressed tourists haven’t found the valley and that sweet and friendly community spirit thrives. It is nature’s wonderland and you’ll find your favourite pastimes right here within a stone’s throw!
