This gated, three-story home is located right on Florida Bay with gorgeous sunsets every night right from your porch or dock. Breathtaking views from all rooms. Exposed wood cathedral ceilings. Large open kitchen with granite countertops and new stainless appliances, and a walk-in laundry room and pantry. Tons of closet space throughout the house. Open floor plan with dining table that seats ten. Relax on the ground floor in the hammock or hot tub with a view of the bay. This home has covered parking for two to three vehicles. Also a canoe is provided for your use.

Classic Keys Experience

What a beautiful property !! Located on a quiet residential street with access to walks in a beautiful neighborhood. Friendly neighbors and beautiful views of Florida Bay with a gorgeous sunset. The home is well equipped for relaxing and entertaining and we did both. Dawn and Pete have made their home the perfect spot for a family vacation. We had a boat so wonderful waterfront dining was readily available. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to have a true "Keys Experience".

Wonderful House & Owners

We stayed in this home last year with our children and grandchildren. The house was perfect - the bay water was warm - manatees swimming by - caught fish right off the dock - kayaked - snorkeled (I think some of the folks living on the bay thought we were a little nuts but it was WARM to us Tennesseans! We would be there this year - but the house wasn't available!.

Fantastic Family Vacation !!!

From start to finish this was our Best Family Vacation Ever. The owners offered valuable information about their Home and the area and were always prompt in answering any questions or concerns. The Home is beautiful and set up perfectly for families, offering enough privacy for all, but also amazing kitchen and gathering space. The Canoe that was provided gave us hours of wildlife viewing up front and personal, which included Momma and Baby Manatee's, Baby Dolphins, Crocs and Beautiful Iguana's. Owners leave nothing out when it comes to accommodating families. Home is well stocked with ANYTHING you might need. Dining, snorkeling, as well as fishing and great sightseeing all there or close by. A few hours drive for Eco Everglades Tours and Key West. Make sure to include the Ernest Hemingway House. Our Favorite activity? Sampling the Keys Cuisine ,relaxing in the Hot tub and watching the breathing taking sunsets. This was a Fantastic Family Vacation in this PERFECT home and setting. Thank you Dawn and Pete We hope to return again and again !

Key Largo

The house was perfect for our trip. Everything you could possibly need. Close enough to everything we were interested in doing. The owners provided plenty of valuable information about the surroundings. The spectacular sunsets on the back porch were exactly what we needed and were looking for.

Family vacation

The house is more beautiful than advertised. Everything needed was there. The views of the sunset were spectacular. The house was very comfortable. Everything we needed was there, even fishing poles. Would recommend this to any family looking for a relaxing and beautiful week away.

Your private resort

One of the most enjoyable, memorable, relaxing, and beautiful vacations ever. The owners really made us feel welcome and very helpful in planning our vacation. The house was very accommodating to our family of 12, ages 19-62. The sunsets were amazing every night...and the sunrise from the end of the dock made a beautiful start to the day. We felt like we had our own private resort, with the use of the sailfish and canoe, or swimming off the dock, floating on an inner tube, or relaxing in the hammock under the shade of the palm trees, or enjoying the suns rays on shore at the end of the dock. The hot tub was perfect to relax after a busy day. We even enjoyed a fire in the fire pit on Christmas eve. The home met all my expectations and more. I could not have found a better location to spend Christmas with my family. I will miss Sunset Bay.

Fantastic Time

Dawn and Pete were incredibly nice when I first spoke to them when arranging our company vacation. We (7 people total) arrived to find the house immaculate, and possessing nearly every amenity we needed (a fantastic hot tub, a well equipped kitchen, outdoor bbq, indoor/outdoor sound system and more as shown in the description). The house was in a great neighborhood, and accommodated the needs of everyone there - we all slept comfortably, those of us that were runners or bikers found the neighborhood to be perfect for casual exercise, and all of us enjoyed our time swimming out by the dock (and spotting the occasional manatee or dolphin that would swim up to investigate us). For spending time in Key Largo, the house was merely a few minutes drive from Ballyhoo's and Mrs. Mac's (both excellent local restaurants), as well as a very short drive from the local liquor store. We had a great time here, and would definitely come back should the opportunity to return to Key Largo arise in the future.

We are a couple retired from the construction business in Miami. We built this home as our getaway for peaceful relaxation on beautiful Sunset Bay. We are happy to share our home with you and are always just a phone call away if you need anything at all.

Why they chose this property

Key Largo is the first and, some would say, the best island in the Keys. It is a world away from Miami, yet close enough to the city to go in on a whim. Proximity to plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes in the area, and importantly, a grocery store, pharmacy, and even a Starbucks just down the road. Yet our neighborhood is very secluded and quiet...like a well kept secret. The bay our home is on is one of the best in the Keys with spectacular sunsets and calm waters for swimming and water sports. It just doesn't get any better than this!

What makes this property unique

We built our home from the ground up with the idea that it would be a haven for friends and family for generations. It's built for relaxation and making memories with the people you love. And we are proud to have had countless good times at this home. We are sure you will too!
