Welcome to our well-appointed, spacious oasis just steps from the sea with water views from every room. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets on the porch and balcony or relax with a glass of wine on our cozy and private backyard deck. Gourmands will love our chef's kitchen or barbeque like a champ on our Weber propane grill. End evenings roasting marshmallows on our gorgeous stone fire pit. Games are available in the four-season gazebo for the kiddos while a semi-private pebbly beach is just 400 m away. Our central location allows guests to walk to the Marina in 10-12 minutes or leisurely walk to downtown (18 min) to experience the freshest seafood around! Enjoy the semi-private pebbly beach at the end of our street. Alternatively, grab one of our complimentary beach cruiser bikes and head to Pointe du Chene wharf, and Parlee Beach in 10-15 min. Here, you will find the softest sand and warmest salt water in Canada. Catch the annual Shediac lobster festival or just shop local artisanal shops by the famous Giant Lobster. Several other great beaches, like Aboiteau are 15 minutes away by car. This is a great central location for day trips to Fundy National Park, Prince Edward Island or many of the other attractions in Atlantic Canada. Fly into Moncton Airport, just 15 minutes away.

Exceeded Expectations In Every Way

A beautiful home that we immediately felt comfortable in. You can watch the boats in the bay from the upper loft and escape to your own quiet oasis in the backyard. Our kids loved the gazebo where they could play games and watch tv quietly and it also worked very well as an office space. You are quite close to the trails and beaches, the plethora of bikes available allow all ages to participate. Highly recommend this property, it is very clean, fresh and tastefully decorated. Shediac is wonderful to visit and the neighbourhood is very welcoming.

Wonderful stay in Shediac

We had a great stay at Emily's cottage. Myself, my husband, our infant son and my parents. Such a beautiful space and very comfortable for our family. Very new, clean, and thoughtfully decorated and organized. We plan to return next summer!

Extraordinary Stay ,Luxurious Home

Amazingly Home made our Family Ski weekend extraordinary. This amazing home made our Family ski weekend at Poley Mountain an extraordinary one. Returning to this luxurious yet family cozy home located in a beautiful community made it the perfect family weekend. We also discovered great French Restaurant's in the town of Shediac. The home’s upscale kitchen and appliances with open concept dining made making dinner so much fun for all of us. We couldn’t have been more comfortable. Our hosts were so considerate. They really thought of everything. Can’t wait to return this summer.

We are a couple that grew up beside the ocean, one in England and one here in New Brunswick. We have travelled the world-at least 5 continents- staying at some of the most impressive Airbnbs in Paris, Cairns, Melbourne, Lisbon, the coast of South America in Vina del Mar, Chile, the Andes mountains in Argentina, just to name a few places. After years of working many kilometers from any ocean, we longed for the Maritimes where we first met, and in the beachside resort of Shediac, we bought a seaside house to call our very own! We are excited to share our seaside home with you and know you will fall in love with the area, the salty ocean breezes, the freshest seafood, and the amazing local people, as much as we have.

Why they chose this property

This unique home is located on a quiet residential street that dead ends at a pebbly beach (300 m walk away). Grab one of our bikes in our guest garage, and bike the scenic 15 min ride to Parlee Beach where you will experience the warmest salt water in all of Canada. Also within walking distance (25 min) is the famous Pointe du Chene wharf where you can catch a Bay cruise or the teens can rent jet skis as you watch them while dining on one of the patios of several excellent seafood joints, the Sandbar or Captain Dan's. The Shediac Marina is only a 10 min walk away, while Main St., downtown is an18 min walk. Here, indulge in some fine culinary restaurants just a hop, skip and jump away! My favourite soft-serve in the world is located on Main St. (their dips are Belgian chocolate.. Cmon!),

What makes this property unique

Centrally located, therapeutic seaside town where people are friendly and the bountiful seafood is the tastiest around! This is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries for a week in the heat of the summer, or on a cool long weekend in the fall, winter or spring!
