Location Scottsdale close to city center and Tempe
This condo is the heart of Scottsdale in a nice quite community. We are 5 minutes from everything. We are 5 minutes to Old town also close to the 5 minutes to Tempe. I can see the zoo a block away when I run or walk along the canal . That makes it really nice to get around and do stuff. It is a 2 bedroom one bath it has a huge bonus room with a desk. Both beds are queens one has a topper pretty comfortable beds too.
The condo is pretty spacious lots of room, with the big bonus room attached. Washing & dryer in the unit it makes it nice not having to go to the main laundry that is in the complex, allowing you to do it at your leisure. The home has a really nice pool that is kept at the perfect temperature all year long. There are new gas BBQ grills out by the pool nice to have BBQ when ever you like. All is included utilities, Wi-Fi ,extended cable. This property was my dads great memories from when we would visit for spring break with the kids and spend hours at the pool and just a wonderful time relaxing. We only rent a few times a year in the winter as we like to come use the unit also. It is relaxing safe environment my special retreat, enjoyable to many. Just hours away to many interesting locations Grand Canyon, Sedona, to have some scenic adventures. There are so many restaurants in Scottsdale you will have your choice of any type of food your heart desires.

Without our knowledge and without out permission, the owner changed the dates of our condo stay but did not charge us more money. We were at the condo Jan. 4-Jan. 31, 2023 - not Jan. 1- Jan.31, 2023. We did not request the change. The condo needs to be updated - such as old kitchen chairs and table need to be replaced. The master bed comforter was torn and open to the filling - apparently damaged by a dryer. The master bedroom does not have a window or an exit other than an interior door. The smoke detector was on top of the refrigerator. We never found a carbon monoxide detector or a fire extinguisher as stated in the contract. There was no book of instructions for the equipment in the condo - such as the dishwasher, the microwave, the stove/oven, the washing machine and the dryer. The ice maker was frozen with no directions on how to correct this problem. There were several unlabeled keys which we did not know what they unlocked. The shower head was leaking in all directions and was fixed by a friend of the owner several days after we arrived. The television was not hooked up to cable in the condo and the owner's friend corrected this problem. No games or travel information were found in the condo which many VRBO units have. There were no replacement light bulbs to fit the ceiling fan. Some decorative glassware in cabinets could be removed so there is space for canned/boxed foods. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware, dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. The people (other residents) were friendly and helpful. We participated in activities in the condo association and really enjoyed the other residents. The condo grounds were extremely well maintained. We enjoyed picking and eating fresh oranges, grapefruits, and lemons from the fruit trees in the complex. The location of the condo is good for all parks, museums, and access to the 101 and the 202 AZ highways.
Very clean. Nice neighbors. Vicki good to work with

The grounds are truely lovely. Lots of space to walk around.
As you can see the pool is outstanding. Lots of different fruit trees and cactus. This condo has a great dining area which we utilized for our jigsaw puzzles. It is so convenient to the zoo, botanical gardens and Old town.

Stay far far away - filthy property, scary area
Disgusting property. We were moving from out of state and closing on a home and needed to rent a place on a month to month basis. All of our furniture was in storage, so VRBO seemed like a good option and has been a positive experience in the past. Immediately after paying, Vicki told me that electricity was not included and also that she wanted a separate lease contract signed. According to her ad, everything was included. She eventually agreed that we wouldn't need to sign the contract or pay electric, per her mistake on the listing. When we arrived to the property, we were overwhelmed with how awful the area was. I guess it was our fault for not researching it more, but we saw homeless people pushing shopping carts, and it was a super old and run down place. We had our 2 young children with us so we were nervous but kept an open mind. When we walked in, it was an overwhelming musty smell. I felt sick almost instantly upon walking in. The smell, the blue carpet, the random panes of glass, and glass and marble tables - it was overly cluttered and definitely not child/family friendly in any regard. We continued the tour and the master bedroom smelt of strong urine. I am not kidding. There was also no window in the master bedroom which made the room dark. Vicki had 2 lease agreements sitting on the table with pens and told us to sign. We again said we weren't signing anything additional to what we signed through VRBO because we weren't told prior to paying. We offered to take our money back and leave. She refused to refund us and said if we leave, no refund. I think she was very desperate for the money. There was thick dust everywhere, the toilet was dirty, there was someone else's thick hair balls behind the bathroom door. I was seriously disgusted with the level of filth. The a/c did not work well outside of the bedrooms, so it was very hot and had to constantly turn it up (this is probably why she insisted we pay for electric). The oven hadn't been cleaned, probably ever, and had old food and paper clips in the elements and the oven burnt everything we put in there so we stopped using the oven. There were many things missing from the "complete kitchen" that was promised, simple things such as a cheese grater and colander. In the last week of our stay, power started to go out randomly and we would have to reset the breaker constantly. When we left, she implied we stole towels. I am out of room, but there really isn't anything positive I can say.

Polynesian Paradise Condo
We found the owner Vicki to be very accommodating. She would answer our phone correspondence rapidly. The Polynesian Paradise Condo community is well located in Scottsdale/Tempe, AZ area. The pool area and community room is a great place for socializing. The people who live and vacation there are very friendly and welcoming. The condo itself is a bit retro, new refrigerator, older stove, the beds were comfortable. Internet and wifi included. We found the condo could have been a little cleaner when we first arrived. Overall we enjoyed our stay there, and a good bargain for the rental price.

Scottsdale Gem! Close to Old Town, Airport, Shopping, Dining, Papago Park
I leased this property for several months as I was transitioning to a new job and moving from out of state. As I was new to the area, I wanted something that felt safe and cozy and that offers convenient access to dining, shopping, outdoor activities and the airport. This condo was a great find! The view upon driving in doesn't reflect how nice the complex and the condo itself really is, so it's best not to form immediate impressions from the parking lot. A nice surprise awaits. When you walk into the courtyards and paths of the complex, there are beautiful fruit trees and lots of individual owner touches that make a pretty and comfortable setting. I loved the fruit trees, which produce the tastiest lemons, grapefruit, oranges and tangelos! I looked forward to picking my breakfast. There's a nice, spacious pool area, and the common area features gas grills and a clubhouse. The grass is lush and green, and it's evident there's a lot of pride of ownership and great upkeep of the grounds.
Now to the condo itself. It had everything needed to make me feel comfortable and safe. The landlord made certain to include thoughtful items to make everyday life easy. Little things like a flashlight, basic tools, a nightlight and basic supplies like some cleaner and bottled water were provided upon move-in. I really appreciated this! The condo has a comfy leather couch and chair, two dining areas, two bedrooms with dressers and ample closet space. The master bedroom features a nice built-in makeup table and bench with great lighting. The landlord placed a dual-sided magnification mirror on the table, which I found particularly helpful. The kitchen has dishes, utensils and cooking equipment. I found everything I needed. The family room features a large flat screen TV with full cable service and wireless internet. I love the personal touches the landlord provided in the decor, which has an overall southwestern flair. She told me interesting stories about several of the items. Of particular note is a very cool metal wall sculpture. You'll have to ask her about it to find the secret of what it's made of! I was also very relieved to have a washer and dryer in the unit, which was very important to me. Extra linens are provided, and even a couple of pool floats are available for play time. The condo was very quiet and felt safe, and other residents were friendly. I highly recommend this for a convenient and comfortable Scottsdale stay!

We live in San Diego My husband and I have lived in California for over 30 years we have lots of family and friends in Arizona we love to stay at the condo and when we have time
Why they chose this property
This property has been in our family and we I love this little condo. We go there from time to time when it is open. It has 2 very comfortable couches chairs, and beds the you will feel cozy there. We lived there for 6 weeks one year so I can tell you that for sure:) It has been remodeled, and kept up. My favorite is the pool it is so relaxing and the temp is always perfect!! It is so nice to sit out by the pool and read a book. Or BBQ and have dinner or lunch out by the pool. It is so centrally located and so close to old town it makes it nice to be able to get around without long drives. But close enough to the freeways to get right on to explore Arizona. We are 5 minutes to the airport and zoo, Tempe ASU. Hiking trails right out the door. Really nice area. Some of the condos have parking far from their unit ours is right out the back door that makes it nice. It is also a covered space to keep the car somewhat protected as a carport can.
