Getting Around:
The penthouse is a 45-minute drive from the Cancun International Airport (CUN), 55.1 km/34.2 miles away. When you arrive at the property, if you’re arriving by car, there’s free underground parking available at Aldea Thai. Just ask the guard where to park.
Also if you’re driving around Playa, be aware there are parking meters in effect from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 10 pm, except for official holidays. You’ll have to look for the parking post to pay the meter and display your receipt on your car’s dashboard. Luckily, however, this property is so centrally-located you won’t even need a car. Everything is within walking distance. For any sightseeing or activity further away, you can easily rent a bike, take a taxi, or go by ‘colectivo’ (shared-ride vans) where you need to go.

Maintenance - Construction Noise:
The apartment next door is carrying out some general maintenance work from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm until December 2024. During this time, the use of the rooftop may be affected but will still be in service. We apologize for any inconvenience.
This condo has 2 comfortably furnished rooms and 2 full bathrooms. The penthouse can accommodate 6 people.
- Wi-Fi, cable TV, bed linens & are all provided free during your stay.
- We provide a few basic essentials as well, to make you feel more at home when you arrive like some bottled drinking water, soap & toilet paper. But please note, these will not be refilled during your stay. If you need more, you can pick these items up at the nearby convenience store or Walmart.
- As a precautionary measure, to avoid the contamination & spread of Covid-19, the elevators and the fitness center (a.k.a areas with high risks of infection) in the complex may be temporarily suspended.
- For short-term stays, electricity is included. However, for stays of 28 days or more, guests will be required to pay an electricity fee of $167 USD per month.
- For stays of 28 nights or more the guest must pay 2 cleaning services per month at a cost of $40 USD per cleaning.
- There's no washer or dryer on the property, however, there’s paid laundry service where you just drop off your dirty clothes and pick them up cleaned and folded a few hours to a day later. It’s extremely convenient and inexpensive.
- Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
- A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
- Important to note: this area experiences some noise at times being that it’s close to downtown and to some bars and nightclubs, but inside with doors/windows shut, lessens the noise so it’s not as bad.
- Lastly, long-term stays are available. There’s plenty of laptop-friendly workspaces and good WiFi so it’s great for the remote worker!
- There is a penalty of $12 USD per bracelet or magnetic card lost.
- Please note that the condominium lobby is undergoing maintenance work due to some leaks in the main palapa. Please excuse the conditions while the work takes place. The reception desk service will not be interrupted. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
- The local team works from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and on Sunday only in case of emergency.
HOUSE RULES
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis, or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise will not be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters will be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture
- Pets are not allowed.
- It is requested to use the Safety Deposit Box for all your valuables. We will not be held responsible for any loss or theft.
- Pool and common area regulations and opening hours have to be respected. The use of musical devices in common areas is prohibited. Glasses, glass bottles, food or coolers are not allowed in the pool, the use of disposable or plastic glasses are allowed.
- We ask that you please adhere to the rules of the condo complex during your stay. You’ll be required to acknowledge and sign upon arrival.
Interaction with Guests:
You can check in at the front desk where you’ll present an ID and complete the registration process. Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement regarding adherence to rules & regulations of the complex and the property.
