Walk through the front door to paradise

The space
Our beautiful home in Pukehina is a modern beachfront cottage.

Four bedrooms and 2 bathrooms will comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests.

The living, kitchen and all bedrooms have views of the ocean.

Delight in the stunning sunrises and sunsets from the large covered deck. If you're lucky your might spot orca, seals or even the odd penguin.

Stargazing at night is a must.

Pick up your fishing rod, surfboard and sandcastle buckets and use the property's private laneway to go and play on the beach.

At the end of the Parade, relax at Waihi harbour and estuary. Enjoy swimming, paddle boarding and other water activities. The Pukehina Surf Lifesaving Club marks the walk entrance to Dotterel Point - home to the threatened tuturiwhatu (New Zealand dotterel).

A convenience store is nearby and Pukehina’s popular Thai meal delivery service - Seaside Thai Pukehina, is available on the weekends and for events.

Perfect Beach Stay
Our family of five had a perfect stay at the cottage. It’s right on the beach with a beautiful view. The host provided the most amazing amenities, even breakfast. We were able to drive to see many sights from the location - be sure you have dinner at Monty’s just down the road.

Great property right on the beach.Bit windy and sea rough during our stay,not sure if thats normal.Slept 3 couples and one single with 2 bathrooms, great for our group to catch up

Lovely stay!
The location is phenomenal - so lovely. There was a little confusion with check out as they arrive an hour before what was listed on Bookabach, but it was no major. Great stay.

Beachfront Bliss
What a beautiful spot. We didn't get to spend much time in the house itself as we stayed in Pukehina as a base for our daughters wedding at the Old Forest School. Very handy for that! In between we were able to sit and watch the waves, would loved to have had longer just to relax...it's that kind of place!. Communication was great, house was clean and comfy. Just perfect thank you

great spot but house is very tired. looks a lot different to photos. things are old and damaged. no milk and not good coffee. cleaning was patchy in beginning. price was elevated but quality was not

Was the most relaxing and enjoyable staycation my family and I have had, and our host Nicola was very helpful with any queries we had on our stay there.The property was clean and tidy inside and out with awesome views of the ocean and surrounding islands . Definitely returning for a longer stay on our next vacation and highly recommend this property for your next dream holiday

Wonderful getaway spot
Even though the sun was hiding, we could enjoy the fabulous view from the comfy lounge. House is very functionally set up with everything you need and Nicola is an outstanding host. For bigger groups, this house offers some separation between the bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is awesome! Great location for a quiet get-away.

Awesome long weekend getaway
Stress free comfortable weekend away. Familt loved it. Little hiccup and we were offered a free night, generous and kind hosts. Booking was a bit of a nightmare but the host sorted it and we were able to enjoy their lovely house. The neighbors were nice to. Beach was lovely, would go back.

Beachfront paradise
Our family booked the accommodation for an extra special weekend…our daughter’s wedding at Old Forrest School. We were not disappointed when we turned up and saw the location and view. The house was clean and tidy and provided the perfect place to relax around a very busy but fabulous weekend. This was a weekend to remember and we hope to return soon for a weekend of sun, sea and relaxation. Pukehina will forever hold a place in our hearts.

We had an awesome break from the hustle and bustle of city life. The house is well equipped and we had everything we needed to self cater for our 5 day stay. Nicola kept in contact when needed and was very helpful and friendly throughout. Highly recommended as the locality is approximately an hour drive to either Tauranga or Whakatane for day trip explorations. Keep it up Nicola and looking forward to meeting up again.

Clean and tidy house
Property was beautiful & clean and tidy. New kitchen and modern bathrooms. Beds were a bit hard and small. Otherwise beautiful property. We did think from the photos that the property was at sea level and that you could walk straight out the door onto the beach. But its up high and you have access via a driveway to the beach.

Relax and unwind on the beach
We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Situated right on the beach with a dairy and fish n chip shop across the road. We don’t want to leave so we stayed an extra few days.
