Large,non-estate,villa. Recently renovated with 5 bedr. 3 bathr. central heating, Satellite TV, DVD, kiddies play-area and a large swimming pool in a safe, enclosed garden. Non-overlooked sun terrace and large BBQ by the 10mx4m child-friendly pool and a separate quiet, shaded area to relax in the presence of an ancient olive tree. Set in beautiful Spanish countryside, but within easy reach of unspoilt beaches.
A few minutes drive away from quaint fishing villages where you can still buy the 'catch-of-the-day'.
The Ebro Delta is close by; an angler's paradise and very popular amongst wildlife-watchers. Fishing trips, permits and restaurant reservations may be arranged prior to arrival.
World-class golfing at the 'Golf Bonmount' Club. This beautiful par 72 course has mountains on one side and the Mediterranean on the other.
Port Aventura, the Universal Studio theme park is just 30 minutes away. Thrills & spills for the young ones.


What we have here is a bit of peace and quiet. A spacious villa with all the comforts of home. A safe, enclosed garden with BBQ, sun terrace and pool on one side and a separate, cosy, shaded area on the other (for those who need to take a break from all the activity). Outside the garden, there are private olive groves and woods to explore, on foot or by bicycle (We have bicycles of varying sizes, available free of charge)
We also have a wide selection of films on DVD; also free of charge.

Sky TV, DVD (& free-loan DVD's), free Wi-fi, Stereo & Books to read. Walled gardens. Private large, child friendly pool 10mx4m. Kiddies play area. Large BBQ & terrace adjacent to pool. I am an Englishman and my wife is Spanish (Catalan). We live in a cottage close to the main house and are available at any time to assist/advise on matters of tourism, language problems or the day-to-day necessities of a family abroad.

Bon séjour avec des enfants
La maison est située a l'écart de la ville, au calme mais une voiture est indispensable pour tout. Chris habite a côté, il est disponible dès que nécessaire. Il est aux petits soins, très gentil. La piscine est grande et jolie. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour que les enfants jouent ce qui est appréciable. La terrasse a l'abri est super pour prendre les repas a l'ombre. Contrairement aux autres avis, nous avons eu très chaud malgré les ventilateurs surtout dans les chambres à l'étage. Nous avons mal dormi la majorité des nuits et pour cette raison nous ne reviendrons pas dans cette maison si nous revenons un jour dans la région.

Extérieur très agréable dans un environnement très calme. Piscine et terrasse sont parfaite. Un peu plus de lumière extérieur pour le soir serait la bienvenue (près de la terrasse extérieure). Niveau cuisine, sans être luxueuse, il y tout. Trois salles de douches avec wc propres mais les douches sont assez petites (nous étions à 7 personnes dépassant les 185 cm). Un seul lit double de bonne qualité, et une bonne répartition des lits, mais de qualité moyenne (mais très propre). Attention, il n'y a pas d'air conditionné, ni de volets....il peut très vite faire très chaud la nuit. Chris bien que voisin très proche et très discret et d'une gentillesse et d'une serviabilité qui fait plaisir en cas de besoin. En résumé...n'hésitez pas à réserver chez Chris...Michel

Wir haben als Familie einen wunderschönen Herbsturlaub in diesem Haus gehabt. Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich und mit allem notwendigem ausgestattet. Da der Pool unterschiedliche Tiefen hat (von ca 0,5m bis zu 2m), war er ideal für uns, da dort auch kleinere Kinder super baden konnten. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und immer für uns da. Auch die Lage war sehr schön, abseits von jeglichem Stadttrubel. Alles in Allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Tranquillité et dépaysement
Nous avons passé 15 jours chez chris et Nuria et nous avons été parfaitement reçu. Les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse extrême et sont toujours là pour répondre à nos questions ou besoins. Nous avons adoré la maison où tout est là :une belle piscine, des jeux pour les enfants, l'espace extérieur est super pour un groupe (nous étions 10 personnes). L'intérieur de la maison est conforme à la description et il ne manque rien. Les plages autours sont super agréables ( les enfants ont préférés"Cala sans jordi" qui est à 10 minutes car on peut sauter des rochers 😉). Si nous revenons à ametlla c'est sans problème que nous reviendrons voir chris et nuria.

Maravillosa experiencia!
La casa es espectacular,cómoda y con todos los detalles para grupos grandes, además de encontrárnosla muy limpia. La piscina tiene el tamaño ideal y además cuenta con un una zona que no cubre para que los niños más pequeños puedan disfrutar sin peligro. El jardín, los columpios y la mesa de pingpong completan una experiencia de 10. El anfitrión, Chris, es súper atento, aducado y entregadísimo a sus huéspedes. Tuvimos un problema con uno de los coches y enseguida vino a ayudarnos y está ahí para cualquier cosaque necesites, siempre con una sonrisa. Seguro que repetiremos!

Superbe villa au calme et propriétaire très sympa
La propriété correspond exactement aux photos de l'annonce. Les propriétaires, Chris et Nuria, sont extras et nous ont accueilli de façon formidable. L'endroit où est situé la villa est magnifique. Si vous recherchez un endroit calme, paisible et isolé tout en étant à 10mn de la plage cette location vous conviendra parfaitement. La maison est très bien équipée, il manque rien: vélos, barbecue, jardin, terrasse couverte et une autre à côté de la grande piscine.

Unos días geniales!
Hemos estado 4 días, tres familias. La casa es muy cómoda y los anfitriones super amables. Es TOTALMENTE recomendable! Para repetir sin duda sobre todo si vas con niños! Piscina, mesa de pinpong, columpios, bicis... A media hora de portAventura y a 5 minutos del pueblo, donde se puede disfrutar de sus calas o comer en los restaurantes cerca del puerto... Mejor imposible!

Villa exceptionnelle, conforme aux photos et à la description du site Internet. L' intérieur et les extérieurs sont très propres (y compris la piscine). Peaceful location, lovely owners
We originally booked this villa for a week but as the time got nearer we discovered that there was noone in before us so we booked a few extra days. We drove to the villa and Chris (the owner) offered to meet us nearby to show us the location as it is a little tricky to find first time but we were happy to locate it ourselves having located it first on Google Maps. First impressions were pleasing. The villa is in a lovely quiet location but within easy driving distance of small towns and conveniences. You do need a car if you are staying here. The outside space is clean and theres plenty of it. There are bicycles available, table tennis, dart board and of course the pool. The pool is a good size and there is ample space at the shallow end for children/non-swimmers. Chris keeps the pool clean daily although he is an early bird so you probably won't see him. Inside the villa the kitchen is well equipped and unlike other villas we have stayed at, there were bin bags, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, tea towels and even a selection of herbs, salt and pepper. As anyone who stays in villas will appreciate these little things make a big difference. The outside bin is emptied each day so you don't need to worry about rubbish being left around. The villa was lovely and clean, the beds made up as we required them (there were 6 of us) and extra bedding if you needed it. All towels were supplied including pool towels which definitely helps with keeping the luggage down. In the living room there is a laptop available with wifi, a dvd player and satelite/cable tv. There were only a few english channels we could find and we didn't use the dvd player. There are also a range of books available to read. Unfortunately for us, our car broke down whilst we were there and although this was not Chris' problem he was very helpful and spoke to garages and recovery people on our behalf as we do not speak Spanish. He and Nuria (his wife) also enabled us to print off paperwork that was needed for the garage. Without them I am not sure how we would have sorted the paperwork out. We had a lovely stay at Can Albert and will definitely be going back in the future. We would recommend this villa if you like your own space and peace and quiet. There is plenty to do in the area if you are so inclined but if like us you just like to take time out and relax then here is perfect.

Sehr schönes Haus
Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen hier verbracht. Das Anwesen liegt sehr ruhig in einem alten Olivenhain. Núria und Chris kümmern sich um alles, sodass es den Gästen an nichts fehlt. Wir hatten jede Menge Handtücher für Pool und Strand, die nach einer Woche sogar ausgewechselt wurden. Fahrräder, Tischtennisplatte und Pool wurden besonders von den Kindern ausgiebig genutzt. Die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen: Wir haben einige herrliche Wanderungen in den Bergen gemacht und wurden mit herrlichen Ausblicken belohnt. Auch Barcelona ist gut für einen Tagestrip zu erreichen. Unsere Männer waren sogar im Camp Nou und durften Neymar, Messi und Co. live erleben. Es gibt außerdem eine große Auswahl sehr schöner Strände. Obwohl es schon Ende Oktober war, war das Wasser noch ausreichend warm und wir haben beim Schnorcheln schöne Fische beobachtet. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal!

Superbe maison
Nous avons loué cette superbe villa pour 1 semaine nous étions 9 , 2 familles en tout. Je voudrai tout d' abord remercier Chris et Nuria pour la rapidité avec laquelle ils ont répondu à mes mails et aussi pour l' accueil et leur disponibilité . En ce qui concerne la villa elle est d' une propreté irréprochable , et il y a tout le confort ( draps , serviettes de toilette , serviette de piscine et serviette de main, toutes les salles de bains ont du produit pour les mains) . L' extérieur est aussi impeccable , 2 espaces terrasse et une super piscine. Je conseil cette villa à tout le monde , merci Chris et Nuria. Stéphanie

Superbe villa
Tout d' abord je remercie Chris et Nuria qui ont toujours répondu à mes mails avec une rapidité incroyable, ensuite ils sont venu nous chercher pour nous emmener a la villa , merci à eux pour leur accueuil. En ce qui concerne la maison elle est exactement comme sur les photos, elle est d' une propreté irréprochable , Chris et Nuria ont pensé à tout draps, serviettes, drap de bain pour la piscine.L extérieur est tout aussi bien avec 2 terrasses , la piscine , la table de ping pong . A wonderful return visit!
We stayed at Can Albert in September last year with our dogs, and had such a fantastic time we booked again for this year. Our friends were fed up with hearing us bang on about how great it was and suggested they came too! They weren't disappointed - the villa is set in olive groves with mountains as the backdrop, and it's close to a lovely non-touristy seaside town with great restaurants. Nearby is the beautiful River Elbe delta with long sandy beaches, rice fields and water birds. Chris, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful, and the villa is perfect. We had great weather too. We'll be back!

Urlaub im Freundeskreis
Wir (7 Erwachsene und ein kleiner Hund) verbrachten 3 Wochen entspannten und erholsamen Urlaub im Haus Can Albert. Chris holte uns an der Autobahn ab und zeigte uns das Haus, den Garten und den Pool. Es sieht in Natura noch besser aus, als auf den Fotos.Chris war jederzeit ansprechbar und kümmerte sich täglich um die Pflege des Pools und der Pflanzen. Wenn man kein Frühaufsteher ist, bemerkt man ihn garnicht. Das Haus ist gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf der Veranda hatte man den ganzen Tag Schatten, so kamen nicht nur die "Sonnenanbeter" auf der ganz großen Poolterrasse (mit Sonnenschirmen) auf ihre Kosten. Die Kulturstätten wie z.B. Monserrat, Klöster Poblet und Santes Creus, Figueres mit Dali-Museum, Tarragona, Barcelona und auch das Ebro-.Delta sind schnell zu erreichen. An den kleineren Badebuchten ist man nach kurzer Autofahrt. Die Ruhe im Haus, Garten und die Lage Mitten im Olivenhain war einfach schön. Das Internet stand uns auch zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist für größere Gruppen oder Familienurlaube zu empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder. Ganz liebe Grüße an Chris und Núria.

Accueil et maison formidables
Fin avril début mai 2014, nous avons passé une semaine en famille (4 générations) à Can Albert. Chris et Nuria, nos hôtes, sont venus nous chercher à la sortie d'autoroute. Très bon accueil. La maison est à la hauteur de la gentillesse des propriétaires. Grande, fonctionnelle, équipée de 3 salles de bains, bonne literie, linge de maison fourni (draps et serviettes). Tout est impeccable de propreté. Les lieux sont très bien entretenus. Il y fait bon vivre. Parfait endroit pour tous les âges. Les enfants ont pu se baigner... ping-pong, vélo, TV et accès à Internet. Chris et Nuria ont vraiment pensé à tout. A deux pas, de jolies criques et plages à découvrir en balade. Voir le Delta de L"Ebre et ses rizières. De très bons restaurants pas chers. Si vous allez au Chateau Miravet, prenez absolument le bac avec la voiture pour traverser l'Ebre (pittoresque !). Pour les jeunes...Port Aventura pas loin. Si vous allez en Catalogne, vous pouvez aller chez Chris et Nuria, vous ne serez pas déçus.

Traumurlaub
Wir haben auf Can Albert mit zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder) einen Traumurlaub verbracht. Das Haus liegt wunderschön inmitten von Olivenbäumen und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Besonders der Pool und die Tischtennisplatte wurden mit Begeisterung genutzt. Da wir herrliches Wetter hatten (in 10 Tagen ca. 10 Minuten Regen und sonst nur Sonne), haben wir viel Zeit draußen verbracht und abends den Blick in den sternklaren Himmel genossen (ohne Lichtverschmutzung). Auch der Grillplatz war fleißig in Gebrauch. Nuria und Chris haben rührend dafür gesorgt, dass es uns an wirklich gar nichts gefehlt hat! Wir haben viele Ausflugstipps bekommen und immer frische Handtücher. Bei der Anreise haben wir einen Treffpunkt vereinbart und wurden zum Ferienhaus gelotst. Auch das war also kein Problem. A fabulous holiday in a beautiful place
This is a lovely, clean, comfortable and very private villa with beautiful outside space, sparkling-clean swimming pool and in a brilliant location. There were only two of us with our two dogs. Perfect for them as the grounds were self-contained and we could walk them outside. Set in acres of olive groves with mountains as the backdrop, it's only 10 minutes drive to the local, unspoilt but buzzing seaside town (wonderful seafood!) and near the exquisite river delta with paddy fields, egrets and unspoilt, empty beaches. We loved this place and imagine it must be particularly lovely off-season. The owner Chris was very helpful and close by if we needed help or information. We would heartily recommend this to anyone who loves the real Spain rather than the crowded Costas. We will definitely return!
