South Hobart or SOHO is a quiet residential suburb located next to Sandy Bay, West Hobart and Hobart CBD. It appears on maps of 19th century Hobart as one of the city’s first suburbs. Many retail shops, restaurants and local attractions are close by. The Southern Outlet begins along the perimeter of the suburb and is one of Hobart’s three main commuter highways, connecting Hobart to places like Kingston and Huon Valley.
Getting Around:
On foot- Walk all around central Hobart or follow one of many walking trails.
Cycle- Tasmania is great for cycling.
Bus- Bus stop directly opposite house is served by bus lines 457, 458, 501 and 601.
Car- Drive anywhere. The Southern Outlet is one of the three important highways cuts through South Hobart.
