Perfect for large or multiple families

The property is large and spacious, very relaxing as you didn’t feel like everyone was on top of you. There were plenty of beds for sleeping. The house was equipped with everything from linens, to bathroom supplies, and anything you would need in a kitchen. The property felt secluded but still close to town

Base

We stayed at this property as a base and snowmobiled out of Newberry. Not on the trail so we trailered to Newberry and started from there. Very easy to do and only 4 miles to the trail head.

Nice property

The house and property were very nice and clean. The location was perfect and central to our various planned trips. Our only complaint is that the mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable.

Green's Acres

All facilities were just what we needed. Making morning coffee and breakfast were easy to do. Good streaming capabilities for rainy periods. Nice outside area to enjoy during good weather. Customer service responsive. Need better instructions to the property. When you exit Newberry on M23 the property is 5 miles further on the left just after following a curve.

Clean and cozy!

This was a birthday weekend for my 70th birthday. I invited my two daughters their husbands and children along. Age ranges were 5 to 11+5 adults. The kids love the grass and the fire pit and the toys that were around. We brought a monopoly game and had an epic game that stretched several nights. The kitchen was very usable and easy to find things, well equipped. Beds were quite comfortable. Each of my daughter’s families took a bedroom, and I got the master. The smaller room did not have AC vents but we set up fans to cool it in there. Thanks for the fans! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and loved the Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Thanks for a beautiful weekend .

UP trip

Booked this location believing it was tucked away and very open to the sky. Here to do astrophotography. Not tucked away, right on the road. That said there is lots of space inside. Large bedrooms and baths.. Fully stocked kitchen with gas range, looked to be Bran new fridge and microwave even a large capacity washer and dryer. Plenty of HOT water, use caution as it gets extremely hot. This would be an ideal rental for a group to go snowmobiling or out with ORV's.

Disappointing Stay

The house is really split up with several steps to different areas. The back bedroom appeared to be a converted garage and did not have heat. The listing doesn’t accurately show how this house is laid out. The shower water ran out into the bathroom floor.

Quiet and enjoyable. Exactly what we wanted.

The home is basically split into 2 halves, with the entrance/mud room being the divider. The first half has two bedrooms containing 7 beds and a full bathroom. The second half of the home is the master bedroom with full bath, living room, and kitchen/dining area. The two sides can only interact by passing through the mud room and up the stairs of the coat locker area. This actually worked phenomenally for us. We're two guys there on business with some hiking mixed in. We each get tons of privacy with this home layout. Only issue we had was with the smoke alarm outside the master bedroom. It would go off anytime we even looked at the oven. No smoke and not even cooking yet. Just pre-heating the oven sets it off. We had to unplug it.
