Relaxing retreat
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is spacious and homely, and our children loved running free in the wide open spaces. The house was warm and perfect for our winter stay with lots of heating, plenty of bedding and a beautiful fire place. We appreciated Lynda's helpful directions which made getting to the property easy. Thank you so much for a refreshing few days in this stunning part of the world!

The Break We Were Looking For
My friends and I stayed here for five nights in the height of Summer. The house was large and comfortable, with great air conditioning when you wanted to escape the heat and a lovely enclosed space for when you wanted to soak in the summer warmth. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and the water pressure in the shower was incredible.Outside, the property offers views in all directions and we wandered often. The remnants of previous farming enterprise was fascinating, giving a strong impression of links to the past while the abundance of wild animals added to the experience. Our nights were spent around the fire and scanning the stars, with one exception when we watched a storm roll past, lightning flashing and grumbling for hours. The location of the house allowed us day trips to the Warrumbungles and Siding Springs observatory, the Pilliga Bore and other sights. Baradine is the closest town, where you can pick up a few supplies and have a drink or meal at the pub. I would suggest bigger shopping at Coonabarabran. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, striking a careful balance between checking in with us and leaving us to our holiday. I thoroughly recommend this stay.

Wonderful Experience
I stayed here with my 3 grown children 16 21 &25. We had a beautiful memorable stay here. We loved the open spaces, bird life and farm feel of Langholm. There were kangaroos emus and the farms sheep with new lambs that had not been born long ago. The house was so farm style and comfortable and roomy. There was a lot of thought out into the setup to ensure we were comfortable with fresh milk available and a much enjoyed bottle of wine. We loved it so much that if given the opportunity we may return.
