Don’t Go
I have rented through VRBO for over a decade. This is by far the worst experience I had with regard to a false description of a property, as well as awful customer service from VRBO. The property was listed as being accessible to major sites. It wasn’t. Rather it was high up in the mountains with poor, dangerous roads. The host was not accommodating and gave very poor communication. The house was dated, mid-described and had multiple fixtures and electrical issues. I could discuss how 2 of the 3 bathroom showers didn’t work. The front gate. The absolutely disgusting outside kitchen. The one TV that was damaged with a black line down the screen. But I also want to point out the multiple life sized signs throughout the house of everything you could not do. The fact that there was barely any WiFi and that there was even a time limit on the hours the PRIVATE POOL could be used per day. Less than 72 hours later I reached out to VRBO given the host’s lack of timeliness. That was a disaster as well and the rep basically told me it was my fault and VRBO had no responsibility. It was ironically like the VRBO commercial with Nick Sabin. All I can end with is don’t rent this house and don’t expect VRBO to do the right thing.
