Beautiful cabin on a scenic lake

The cabin seemed brand new and was fantastic. The property owners were helpful and friendly. The kids had such a great time as did the adults. Walmart was nearby for anything you'd need.

Home away from home

Great winter getaway - warm in the spacious cabin while watching the wind blow slow around the frozen lake with a backdrop of Tumbledown Mountains. Very relaxing.

Great Weekend

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. My husband and I took our son out for his birthday to ride his dirtbike and I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. It was dark when we arrived so the cabin was a little hard to find, but once we did, we loved it! Very clean, very peaceful. There are other cabins around but no one was there. Only a 20 min drive to get to Walmart and restaurants. The owner was very accommodating and got back to me asap. All in all, we had a lovely weekend and would love to come back!

Adorable cabin in the woods

This property is basically brand new, and it shows. Everything is nice & shiny and clean. The view of the lake is great, and it has everything you need to have a nice stay here. We stayed in the midst of a white-out blizzard, with temperatures dropping to minus 20 below, and we stayed nice & cozy in the house. The landlord is super responsive and made sure that we were in safe & sound, even plowing the road an extra time to make sure we could get out of the long driveway. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for some peace & quiet.

Maine Woods and Skiing

We had a great week in this quiet cabin. The area is VERY quiet in the Winter and the only negative abotu that is when you are surrounded by empty Summer cottages at the end of a long dirt road it feels a little like a horror movie- BUT that was never the actual truth of this location or spot. The cabin is wonderful warm, comforting. The kitchen was well appointed and the shower was large and had plenty of hot water after days of skiing at Saddleback (45 minutes away) and Black Mountain (30 minutes away). The lake is only steps away and we could walk on the lake or watch snowmobiles fly past. The view of the mountains and the constant deer walkign through the forest was great. We also used some of the boardgames and cards on the colder day we were there and decided not to ski. We did bring a small projector and screen to watch movies at night, there is not TV. It was great to not have mindless TV the entire time we were there but the movies for the kids at night was a plus. Walmart/ groceries are 25 minutes away, Framington was 25-30 away also. Great spot!
