My husband and two kids stayed at South Port for a week, we loved it. The cottage had everything you could think of. A close walk to the beach, a close drive to Safari Niagara and Niagara Falls. Alisha gave us lots of information about what to do around the cottage. We will be definitely planning another stay.
Thank you, Alisha, For sharing the little gem called the Southport cottage.
What a perfect place to enjoy the eclipse with my daughter and granddaughter. The cottage was clean, very sweet and well appointed. Alisha was great in communication! Directions in the cottage were very clear. We had a wonderful experience!
Ideal for two small children, lots of space for them to run around as well as entertainment options provided in-house. Many child-friendly accessories such as drinking cups, high chairs and sleeping arrangements. We really appreciated the giftbox featuring local vendors. Close to beach and options for day trips (Niagara Falls). We loved the artwork and branding. Definitely recommend!
House was lovely, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Property offered nice front porch and back deck for sitting. There was a fire pit as well but I did not use it. The wifi was a problem, it was fine for phone but did not work at all for the tv. It would have been nice to have a radio for music. Walking distance to waterfront but I did not see a swimming area.
If you just want to get away for a break, house is very comfortable.

Hi! I'm Alisha, the owner of the South Port Cottage. I love everything design and décor and I'm a certified Interior Decorator. I am truly passionate about sharing my space with you and giving the best guest experience I can!
Why they chose this property
Years ago, I bought the South Port Cottage in my home town of Dunnville, Ontario. I spent many weekends fixing it up and dreamed it would be a cottage for my future family. But when renos were done I rented it out full time and moved to the big city. I met my husband Dan, got married and two little boys. We recently turned our cottage into the getaway I always dreamed of. I love hosting and sharing the cottage life with our guests.
What makes this property unique
This century old cottage was carefully restored and decorated professionally, by me! The unique beach village of Port Maitland is truly a hidden gem full of history and natural beauty. I can't wait to share the cottage life with you!
