You're also just a short stroll away from the famous tidal sandbar, "The Bar," which connects the village to Bar Island. It's the perfect home base for exploring the village on foot or by bike, and for venturing out to Acadia National Park either by car or via the free Island Explorer bus system from the nearby Village Green.
