The property was very spacious and close to downtown. And it was renovated with three good size bedrooms. And the owner was responsive and accommodating to our needs. Five out of five stars!
Good communication with the host and great access to downtown Calgary as your just feet away from Centre Street however we couldn’t use the jacuzzi as other residents in the building were using the space to stay out of the weather while smoking and hanging out.The unit was nice overall with a well stocked kitchen but the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and we had to wash towels and sheets as they had a distinct body odour when we arrived.
The host was easy to reach and check in was smooth. The apartment was large and could comfortably fit 6 people in three bedrooms. I loved the privacy and peacefulness of the property.
Stayed with a few friends and the place is walkable to downtown - its about a 15 or 20 minute walk. The area felt safe and the unit itself was clean. Communication with the host was excellent. The only critique is the hot tub is shared by other tennants downstairs and it is in the front yard, so it wasnt private or exclusive to this unit. We decided not to use the hot tub. Everything else was lovely.
Needed a place to celebrate my husbands bday and his sons bday and his other sons recent marriage
In Calgary and this was the perfect place to stay as we went out to various events and slept over for one night.

Great location
Our group stayed here to celebrate a birthday. Our ages ranged from 40-70. We anrrived after our dinner around 10pm. I have to say our first impression, based on the outside was not great. After parking we entered the back of property to find an unkept shed with and a toilet in the entry way. There were no lights to see the key box so we had to use our flashlights from our phones. The stairwell leading up to the apartment was filthy. Thankfully the apartment was what we were expecting and it was clean. A few things to note, the bunk bed was extremely squeaky and loud. Also, there were no top sheets on any of the beds. The hot tub looked crystal clean but our group didn’t use it. Although it has a private canopy the entrance faces the basement suite and we found it awkward with their window looking directly out towards it. The yard is unfenced and that made us a little uneasy as to who can just walk in. The location of this vrbo can’t be beat if you would like to be near downtown. It was quiet and the area around has lots to offer. We were a few minutes late leaving and the owner was quick to message me reminding the checkout time.
Born and raised in Calgary I love this city and everything it has to offer. I look forward to hosting you and your party.
