Being a mere 10-minute drive down the mountain into Samara greatly influenced our decision. Having hailed from a tourist beach town on Lake Erie, we sought to avoid the hustle and bustle. Instead, we yearned to immerse ourselves among locals and nature, far from the cacophony typically associated with bustling tourist hubs. Choosing to reside here was a natural decision, drawn by the beauty, warmth of the community in our village, . it's not just the landscape; the warmth and hospitality of this community that captured our hearts. Their "Pura Vida" lifestyle, embracing simplicity and genuine connections, resonated deeply with us. The diverse wildlife, from playful parrots to mischievous monkeys, adds to the enchantment, with whispers of howler monkeys echoing through the trees.
