Historic Family Home in Central Location

Terrific historic house with comfortable and private bedrooms, cozy living areas and a great kitchen / dining room combo. Even a patio! Could not ask for a better location to the charms of old town St. Augustine—within walking distance to many of the sights. Stay here and feel like a native, not a tourist.

Another Successful Wedding Stay

We’ve stayed at this property on two other occasions with a wedding party, so when it came time for my own I knew exactly where I wanted to stay. The check in and out processes are super self explanatory and the location can’t be beat for access to the Lightner or the Treasury!

Beautifuly Restored Home

This house was absolutely gorgeous!!! It was very roomy and beautifully decorated. The house was centrally located within walking distance of most of the area attractions. We would love to stay in this home again on our next visit to St. Augustine.

Wedding 23

We just stayed in this beautiful house for our daughters wedding. Perfect size for all our bridesmaids and family for make up and hair. Lovely back garden for our international family to soak up the sun. Everyone had plenty of space it was like home from home. This house was a few mins from the Wedding Venue and all the restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back for another family vacation. Absolutely beautiful

Dated house in great area

This house needs some TLC. It was in a great area and fits a lot of people. There are cracks in the walls. The towels were stained. We also found the lingerie and a swimsuit in the downstairs bedroom. The beds were extremely uncomfortable & squeaky. And there was a dead roach on the counter.

Perfect for a Lightner Museum wedding weekend!!

This location is fabulous! The house is an old Victorian that has so many stunning features!! I also rented the adjoining apartment! The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was modern. The downstairs bathroom was roomy. The bedding was of good quality and there were plenty of bath towels. The indoor sitting areas were all very comfortable and tastefully furnished. A most beautiful gorgeous place to stay!!! We were thrilled to be there and very comfortable!!! Just couple of notes…suggestions not complaints!! 1. There was evidence of carpenter ants and termites in the master king bedroom, and entryways. This had not been swept or cleaned by the cleaning crew. It is an old wooden structure in FLA so it is not unusual to see evidence but it really should have been cleaned. 2. Providing some coffee would have been a nice touch in the kitchen. There were not any welcoming touches in the kitchen. The kitchen is not well stocked in comparison to other properties where I have stayed. I left some coffee there in a glass canister. Toaster did not work. 3. The apartment shower needs a better cleaning. Mold/mildew in corners. 4. Please consider adding seating to all the wonderful porches and balconies on your property. I moved some chairs around so we could enjoy sitting and watching the people pass in Palm row. But I had to do some lifting to make that happen.

Beautiful home with big problems

We were very excited for our stay at this property, as the photos look great, and because it’s in an amazing location. This property has the potential to be great, though it’s just not what we experienced. There were many things in need of repair, such as cracks in the plaster above the twin beds in the upstairs bedroom that were so large we were afraid to sleep under them for fear of the ceiling collapsing in the middle of the night, the upstairs smelled like mold/mildew and set off my allergies. The bathrooms were not very clean, and there was dirty lingerie in one of the drawers in the downstairs bedroom. But the absolute worst thing, and most dangerous, was the lack of heat in the primary bedroom downstairs. This bedroom is surrounded by windows, and we didn’t know that the heat in the rest of the house did not filter into this room. I placed my elderly mother in it, not knowing, and the temperatures dipped the first night into the low 40s. The next morning my mother said she had the most miserable night of her life, too cold to move or use the restroom, or even leave the room for warmth. She developed a runny nose and cough the next day as a result. There was an odd old gas heater attached to the wall, but no way to turn it on and not connected to a gas source. I reached out to the owner and property manager about this but didn’t get a reply for another day or so. We made the decision to vacate the property the following morning and go stay at a nearby hotel. We reached out to the owner and property manager the following day and were met with rudeness and were hung up on. We are currently in dispute regarding a refund. This was a very unfortunate situation, where, it’s a beautiful home in a lovely location, but it has not been kept up well and this has created a potentially dangerous situation for those staying in the home.

5 star location

Overall, our stay was pleasant. We had some trouble with the air conditioning which didn’t work for the first two days. The owner was very quick to respond and got someone out to fix it, but unfortunately still took a couple days in 100° heat. The location is great! This is an older yet historic home, so it will naturally come with challenges.

Victorian Home in Downtown St Augustine

This home is just so cute with so much potential! We really enjoyed our stay here because it is an excellent location to explore downtown without having to fight traffic or pay for parking. You can walk everywhere! Short drive to beach. This home is an adorable maze of unique rooms and spaces with cute porches and balconies that would be amazing if they had seating on them. Most of the balconies and porches were empty, but if they had outdoor chairs to sit and enjoy the view or to watch the afternoon rain shower, it would have been perfect! There is patio furniture in the back patio area, but it was very dirty and mildewy...not something anyone wanted to sit on. I would recommend patio furniture without cushions and that dries quickly between the frequent showers and in the humidity. There were plenty of bedrooms, comfortable beds, and great seating areas and dining inside. The kitchen has been remodeled and is lovely! It had everything we needed. If the bathrooms were remodeled, it would make a massive improvement to the property. The downstairs shower is terrible...One of its doors has no lock, it just feels old and dirty, and the shower head barely functions. We had to cup our hands to catch water and splash it on ourselves to get clean...that is tricky after a day at the beach when you want a really good shower. The upstairs shower wasn't much better with the water pressure. While the old clawfoot tub is cute, the shower curtain that surrounds it blows in on you and keeps sticking to you while you shower. Again, the house is just so nice with such a fantastic location that I highly recommend the owner to improve the bathrooms to make this property just amazing! We rented th Palm Row apartment that is connected to the back of the house. It was perfect for my parents. It has a bathroom, kitchenette, living room, and bedroom. Their balcony had rocking chairs, which made the balcony there perfect to relax on. We could connect their apartment to the rest of the house by unlocking the adjoining door, but they could pull away for privacy and an afternoon nap if they needed to. The management made check in and check out easy. We accidentally left my daughter's white noise machine and asked if they could mail it to us...we would pay for shipping, but her only response was that she would check to see if housekeeping had it. It was never returned. This property is packed with potential and I am sure will just get better as improvements are made.

Family reunion

Our family had a mini family reunion. We stayed at your home for eating and sleeping, but we gathered with the rest of the extended family out at a local pool so we could still socially distance. We went sight-seeing on the Old Town Trolley. The home was perfect for our group. It allowed us to have our own space and yet still gather for meals and socializing.

Perfect house for a group - lots of space, location is perfect and parking in downtown STA

We got married in St Augustine over the weekend, and this house was the perfect place for 7 of us to stay (could have taken on a few more). The location is super central and was perfect for the girls to get ready, and space out (esp during COVID where we don't want to be on top of each other). The house is old and charming, but has been maintained beautifully and decorated so perfectly. We had the best time staying there and would highly recommend it. My fam comes down to St Auggie's frequently and would love to rent again for Christmas, would be a nice change of pace from the beach, love being able to walk everywhere downtown!
