About this property

Large very quiet and very bright apartment on the top floor with 2 large terraces. Fully equipped and air conditioned, it is ideally located in a countryside environment 1200m from the beach. The terraces facing due south are provided with a shade sail, the view is magnificent over the sea below. On the mountain side you can see the pueblo blanco de Chilches. This apartment occupies the entire 5th floor with elevator and has a parking space. The building is located in a dead end. Access is very easy via the autovia exit 258 (2 km). The seashores are not bordered by buildings. The beach remains very family-friendly and frequented mainly by Spaniards. MALAGA airport is 30 minutes away and the pretty town of Nerja is 20 minutes away. You can go to Granada in 1 hour. The kitchen is fully equipped, bed linen and towels are provided, cleaning is included. Have a good stay on the Costa del Sol!

Vacaciones tranquilas

El apartamento está muy bien. Ideal para pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas. Para ir a la playa hay que coger el coche, pero son sólo 6 minutos de trayecto. Cerca de un mercadona y varios servicios.

CASA PERFETTA PER UNA VACANZA INDIMENTICABILE

Villa perfetta per vacanze rilassanti e per scoprire i meravigliosi posti dell'Andalusia, essendo vicina alle maggiori città e spiagge. A very bad experience

We didn't stay there in the end and lost all our money. When we arrived it was baking hot and a bit dirty. We called the owner who assured us that if we wanted to leave she would reimburse our money. We left because it was really, really hot and somewhat dusty. The fridge was also quite smelly. Once we had left and I emailed the owner she said that she wouldn't give us our money back because the air con was working really well. We ended up losing all our money. If you stay there just be aware that in the height of summer it could be very, very hot and there is just one air con unit that in our opinion doesn't work well at all.

Appartement fonctionnel et équipé du nécessaire pour passer les vacances. Située dans un endroit plutôt calme. Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas internet en WiFi car ma 4g a fondu.

Buenas vacaciones

El alojamiento está muy bien y tiene la suficiente proximidad a la playa para estar cerca de ella y a la vez disfrutar de un feliz descanso. La limpieza ha sido estupenda y la confortabilidad del apartamento también. Lo recomendaría.

OK apart from the cockroaches

I would have given this property four stars, its quite spacious and fairly comfortable with good amenities which could be improved by the provision of an iron and Wifi. Its close to many beaches, convenient for Malaga and near the main road network. However, we soon started seeing cockroaches ( cucarachas; les cafards) in the kitchen, we must have killed 30 or more adults and juveniles but they just kept coming. Out of courtesy to the owner I sent the following email: "Hi Christine, I thought you would want me to let you know that we have regularly seen cockroaches in the kitchen, particularly coming from the gap between the worktop and dishwasher. I see from a website that Spanish Health authorities predicted earlier in the year that because of the wet springtime it was likely there would be an increase in infestations. We are keeping all food in the fridge or covered. " I wasn't complaining, just making her aware of the problem so she could put remedial action in place given that they are notoriously difficult to get rid of once they get established. I got no reply to my email, not a 'sorry to hear this' or 'thank you for letting me know, we'll see to it'. Just nothing. So in fairness to other potential renters of this property I have to make them aware that this could be a potential problem.

Location de qualité

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances à Chilches. Le logement est conforme aux photos, il est spacieux, propre, climatisé, très bien équipé et doté d'une grande terrasse ensoleillée avec vue sur la Méditerranée et d'une place de parking. Un supermarché se trouve à proximité ainsi que la plage et des restaurants. L'ensemble est idéal pour passer des vacances au calme en bord de mer. C'est un bon emplacement pour visiter différents sites d'Andalousie. Je recommande.

A lovely place, a really enjoyable stay :-)

A very enjoyable stay in Chilches, the apartment is perfect, a beautifully presented penthouse, with a very large bed in the master bedroom, as well as copious space for a family of 6 more generally, a nice large bathroom, lovely spacious terrace with the sea view, the urbanizacion is very peaceful, the quiet beach easy to reach; more "energetic" areas nicely close for when needed, we couldn't have been happier. Un très très agréable séjour à Chilches, l'appartement est parfait, présentation impeccable, grand lit dans la chambre principale, bien spacieux pour une famille de 6, grand salle de bains, terrasse très bien aéré, l'urbanisation très calme, la plage aussi; de l'animation très proche quand on en a besoin, nous avons très bien joui :-)
