Bouddi National Park is popular all year round with those looking to get their nature fix and soak up some stunning views. In the summer months, take your swimmers so you can cool off at one of the secluded beaches along the way. For a good view closer to home, take a short walk up Tudibaring Head to Captain Cook Lookout and have a picnic. It s also a great spot to watch the annual whale migration. If you feel like even more action then make your way over to Avoca (just a short drive) and hire a pedal boat or kayak and cruise the lagoon. You ll also find local markets here on the 4th Sunday of every month as well as a charming little independent movie theatre. The Area: Copacabana is one of the Central Coast s best kept secrets, just 1.5 hours north of Sydney. With only a few steps to some of the best surfing beaches on the Central Coast, your hardest decision for the day will be whether to surf, swim or kayak. Great caf s including Ocean Bar Cantina, Lady Copa Pizzeria, and Burnt Honey Bakery are all a step or two away. Alternatively, a walk to MacMasters Beach to enjoy a morning coffee or swim in the ocean baths. With shops, cafes and restaurants all on your doorstep, you ll find it hard to leave.
