Beautiful, Peaceful Stay

What a wonderful place. My family & I had the pleasure of staying at Gigi’s Cottage. It was a beautiful place and the views of the water were so calming. It felt like home. We enjoyed the hiking trails. The owners were very welcoming and very nice! My husband worked in Augusta and it was not a bad drive for him at all to get to work. Loved that it was gated. My children and I felt safe. Such a nice retreat. We hope to come again.

Quiet getaway with lovely view!

I spent an amazing 3 weeks at Gigi's Cottage and enjoyed the entire time. Vikki and Scott were so very helpful and kind - they even had snacks ready for me the day I checked in - Super Bowl Sunday! The house was quaint but large enough to relax on the weekends. I enjoyed the walking path through the woods and the visiting wildlife. I especially enjoyed hanging out with the neighbor's cat KK - she was so friendly and made the lonely times more purr-fect! I hope to stay here again when I'm back in Aiken!

Secluded and quiet on a private lake with trails through the woods.

This cottage was immaculate, well stocked with cooking items and linens. I would say kitchen is the best supplied of all the VRBOs I have used. Tastefully decorated. About 10 miles to Aiken on a non-congested highway. We spent most of our days exploring the trails in parks and preserves and touring the museums and downtown area.

GiGi’s Cottage

This property is so beautiful! Tucked away in the woods and on a beautiful pond!! The cottage is decorated to perfection, fully stocked kitchen, super comfy beds. The location was an easy drive to Augusta National, and a short distance from downtown Aiken. Scott met us on arrival and gave us a quick rundown on everything we needed to know. They were always just a phone call away. We highly recommend Gigi’s cottage. You won’t want to leave!!

Peaceful and Quiet

Property is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of business and residential areas. It sits among Pines and a lovely little private lake. The grounds and property are well manicured and taken care of. Anything that is needed while your stay are addressed by owners Vikki and Scott in a timely manner. I can't express how cordial and friendly the owners are and how they make your stay and experience with them a wonderful encounter! I consider Vikki and Scott friends and would encourage anyone who is considering Aiken or Augusta for a vacation or stay to contact them about their "Gigi Cottage".

Great Week-Long Stay

My daugther and I visited Aiken for a week in February in order to attend various equestrian events. This property is within 10 minutes - or less - from Stableview and about 20 minutes from downtown Aiken with easy access off of route 20. The cottage is comfortably furnished and attractively decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need. During the week, I was working on my laptop - the fast internet hookup worked perfectly. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet of the lakeside location as well as the nicely manicured landscape. If the weather had been better, we would have spent mornings and evenings on the deck overlooking the water. Highly recommend.

Perfectly Relaxing Retreat

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property! It's just as nice as the photos portray and very clean and well taken care of. The area is quiet and serene; the lake just beyond the back deck with easy access to the water. Nature trails surrounding the property are cleared and enjoyable to walk, and nature abounds with turtles, fish, and birds. Kayaking was a favorite! The inside of the property is relaxing as well, all beds are very comfortable and the master bathroom is nice and spacious. This cottage is very nIcely decorated for a retreat with family and friends. The owners of the property are kind, helpful, and easy to work with. This is definitely a vacation destination we would visit again. A great experience all around!

Beautiful, peaceful, well maintained and as clean as a whistle

We were so impressed with Gigi's cottage. It is so peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. The property is so well maintained and clean. We felt right at home. Great back porch to sit and enjoy the evening or coffee in the morning. Had a great visit with Scott who was very welcoming. It is not far at all from downtown Aiken which we found very quaint with lots of good restaurants. We hope to return someday.

Wonderful Lakeside Retreat

This lovely lakeside cottage was perfect for four people, and even better for two. Our hosts were right next door, available and helpful. The lake's many moods set a delightful backdrop, with even an afternoon wedding providing soft music and the clink of glasses floating across to entertain us. Everything in the house is clean, modern, and well-taken care of. One very minor point: the deck railing could use bracing at the corner and along its length, as it was a bit wobbly and might present a safety issue for a rambunctious child or over-enthusiastic adult. Other than that, this is a highly recommended place to enjoy South Carolina at its finest.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

The property is very comfortable and has a very 'lived in' feeling. It is very well furnished in the living and dining areas and all possible utensils required for cooking and kitchen use are available. Bedrooms are well furnished and the bathroom/shower facilities are first class. It is located in a remote place, but easy to find. It is a very tranquil location and ideal for a quiet vacation. I would happily return for another vacation there.
