We love this bach and enjoy walking the beach and soaking in the sunrises and sunsets. We hope you get as much enjoyment out of staying here as we have.
Why they chose this property
The Blue Bach is the quintessential kiwi bach. It boasts the must stunning outlook from a modest lounge/dining area. The huge lounge window looks out onto Oamaru Bay where you will be able to watch people come and go and witness the most vivid sunsets NZ has to offer.
A simple kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, pod-coffee machine, plunger, jug, toaster and all the pots, plates, utensils you will ever need. Cooking is done via a BBQ (gas provided), portable gas cooker, mini oven, multicooker, electric frying pan or electric elements.
A tidy plumbed separate toilet gives you the privacy you need while a bathroom inside with gas hot water ensures you can wash the sand away after your daily beach swim (yes the water is warm!)
There is a boat ramp right outside if you have a boat.
The bedrooms are modest but functional. A total of three bedrooms - two upstairs, one downstairs. Two single rooms with single bunk beds, a master bedroom with a queen bed and a single bed in the lounge room will ensure you and your fellow guests get a good night sleep. There are also a couple of single mattresses available for use.
Around the back of the house you'll find a separate laundry and washing line. This is located on the deck above the garage where you'll find some deck chairs so you can relax the days away.
