Reviewer Comments: Comfortable, but ...PROS:Position on the Strand;Two decks, larger one is North facing;Laundry facilities in unit;Gets cooling breezes;Wi-Fi is good.CONS:Security building, with no reception, and only 1 set of keys provided;Was not met by Host so check-in was time-consuming, key box access is awkward, no mention in instructions what floor the unit is on;The location is an advantage AND a disadvantage! If you like turning off the air conditioner and having fresh air coming into the bedroom at night, leaving the bedroom’s deck door open lets in the nightly noise from the nearby restaurants exhaust fans, loud cars/bikes, street sweepers and garbage collections;“Kitchen” does not have an oven or a dishwasher or lights, lights over the limited bench space would be a worthwhile improvement;If airing items on the deck, there is nothing stopping clothing items flying off the deck if the wind gusts. However, there is no access to the area under the deck, it is the private property of the unit immediately underneath;There were references to the unit’s “lake access” and the “gym” on the Airbnb website. The unit has neither. That same website indicates that there is no smoke alarm in the unit, if true, this is illegal. The website indicates there is an “ATM on site” and a “tour desk”. There is neither;The owner of the unit is not the “host”, that is done by a real estate agent. There is no after hours number provided so if something goes wrong overnight or on the weekend, you are on your own. A locksmiths number is provided, no sparky or plumber;You, not the owner, will be charged a “Hosting Fee”. WTF!!

Lovely apartment, great position

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was roomy, very comfortable, and in our case, had a balcony overlooking all the action. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to help. The only downside was the noisy (hoon) drivers who found it necessary to parade their hotted-up vehicles up and down the Strand until late into the night. Overall a relatively minor problem. We enjoyed our stay.
