We had a beautiful time at this little retreat! It was clean and well stocked with all the things to make your stay perfect!
The location is so peaceful and serene.
Christina is a lovely host and made sure our stay was perfect!
We hope to visit again!
This cabin was great! A very nice and homey rustic style cabin. Loved the view and the boats. Nice location to explore the island from. Overall really enjoyed this place!
Wonderful retreat, but close to everything. Loved it!
Lovely property with charming, comfortable, well-stocked cottage. So, *so* much preferable to the cookie-cutter cottage compounds we saw in some other PEI places! Quiet (we could barely see and never heard from neighbouring properties), but still just a very quick drive from swim beaches, the city, FiN restaurant(!), etc. And you don't even need to leave the property for paddleboarding and kayaking, sunset bonfires, morning coffee prowls to view nature...It's great!
Owners have thought of everything, and were responsive to our general communications, so we assume they would also be if anything were troublesome--which it wasn't!
This is an ideal property for small families (though note it's beside water. Kids need supervision--but they'll love it here!) It would also be superb for an individual retreat--say, a writer. Couples, too, if you want lots of togetherness, with easy access to the wider world for dinners out, etc.
Finally, the price was truly excellent for everything the property offers!
Thanks!!
The property was perfectly situated for what we needed..peace & quiet. The outlook on the river was beautiful. It was well placed for getting to some of the local attractions. The only thing we would have liked is better sign posting, particularly on locating the house on your first arrival.
We enjoyed our stay here a lot. It's a sweet cottage with a good location. Quiet and simple. Main complaint was that the shower is tiny. Overall lovely and affordable.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and a beautiful location on the river. We all went paddle boarding down the river which was so relaxing! It is a quick 10 minute drive to Dalvay Beach and the Fish Tacos at Fins 6 minutes down the road we’re delicious! Christina was a great host too. She texted me a few times during our stay to ensure everything was all right. The only thing I would mark stars down for is the road to the cottage is very muddy and the upstairs needed a mirror! I highly recommend this place.
