Knox County Cabin
Cabin review.
I’m writing this review a few months out from an absolutely amazing girls weekend spent at this cabin. I find myself thinking about it so often!
First off I have to say the owners are very responsive and provide a ton of amenities. Their cabin is gorgeous and the views are done a disservice by the photos.
We were a group of four middle aged women so the stairs didn’t pose a huge challenge but if you have more than one party who is physically limited it might be difficult as they are very narrow.
We did find ourselves wishing a map of the immediate area was provided as hiking actually near the cabin proved impossible without one. Insider knowledge of the area would have been helpful. (Looks like this may have been updated since our visit.)
The tiki hut was a bit challenging to open but once we did we had a fabulous time grilling. The deck up top is very spacious and again, the views are to die for. The hot tub was AMAZING! Highlight of the trip!
There is a cute little pond with a fountain that is super soothing, you just have to plug it in when you get there.
Yankton provides some delicious restaurants and I’m honestly thinking about booking this cabin again because it was that amazing!
