summer visit
Following our visit we messaged the owners twice with this feedback and have not received a reply:
"Hello Thi and Brian,
I am writing to follow up on our stay at your rental suite. We were disappointed to be notified the day before our stay of the double booking, resulting in us being moved to a suite different than the one we booked. Whereas we recognize this was an oversight, the suite we booked had a full kitchen and more sofa seating in the living area.
Some additional inconveniences included the need for us to request bedding for the pull out sofa bed, the inability to plug in the microwave and the coffee maker at the same time, the makeshift counter top under the coffee maker that nearly fell off the rack it sat on top of, the fact that we couldn't access outlets in one of the bedrooms due to the furniture covering the outlets, the lack of wash cloths in the bathroom, and our physical discomfort due to the lack of air conditioning during a hot time of year. 4 bottles of water for 4 guests also would have been nice although not a huge deal. Lastly, the photo on the website showing the entire house misrepresents the space and the experience of the renters [especially going to the back of the house and down to the basement to access the suite we were given].
We do not wish to publicly post a negative review for the sake of your business. We are, however, alternatively requesting a refund for one night of our stay for the reasons listed above. "
