Perfect stay

Will definitely be staying here again! Was perfect for my husband and I. I was able to get my school work done in the other room while he cooked. Quiet and clean which is exactly what I was looking for. Also there is a little one burner cooktop, and a crockpot.

A super cute and comfy place to stay right next to a lake! Only a 30 minute drive to Helen and has a mountainous feel. When we forgot our car keys there, the property manager went above and beyond to get them back to us. Amazing service and beautiful property!

Cute little place, pictures matched perfectly! Heads up if you do have a low riding car, come at an angle for driveway. But love waking up to sounds of nature! As well as being about 15-20 minutes from Hellen and other stops! Would stay again.

Lovely, VERY clean, cozy cabin in the woods

I was so pleasantly surprised by this gem of a property in the woods of Demorest, GA! While difficult to find in the dark (suggest arriving during daylight!), the property is beautiful, SUPER clean, quiet, and has all the amenities I'd expect (and some I didn't!). Communication with the host is exceptional - she's extremely responsive and helpful. I'd highly recommend this property!

This was a great property in a beautiful location. Unfortunately I was on a business trip and not for pleasure. However I was able to take in some of the attractions and allure of the area and found them to be amazing. The property was very accommodating as was the host. They provided complete communication and very helpful with area information as well as maintaining cleanliness and comfort.

Misleading and Unkept

“Private Fishing Lake” was an inaccurate way to describe what we found upon arriving for our stay at this property. We followed the lone arrow pointing down the steep wooded ridge towards the “lake” and found a muddy puddle, to say the least, about 100 yards down through the woods with no trail. There was no feasible way to access what water was still visible without sinking in the mud. The house itself has the amenities as described but the cleanliness was lacking, as well. The queen bed does not have a mattress, just a mattress pad atop a box spring. We chose this house for the private fishing lake as offered and we were disappointed to say the least. The property has potential but did not match what was described. A disclaimer should be added about water levels and that you should pack your hiking boots for the trek to the muddy puddle. A cheap hotel offers the same experience as our stay here.

Nice cozy cottage on our Anniversary

As my husband's and I first experience using VRBO it was pretty nice. It was in a quiet neighborhood with a cozy feel to the cottage. Has the necessities that you need and very clean. If you're looking for a full stove and oven there isn't one. There is a hot plate too cook on and a toaster over for use. The lake is down a path if you want to fish. The hike back up the path most definitely let me know I'm a little out of shape. It's not to far from Helen, GA where the festivities are. Too say the least we were pleased with our first time renting through VRBO.
