Perfect Weekend Getaway

We adored the cabin and all the unique rustic touches. That shower is gorgeous 😍😍 it was so nice and relaxing to wake up to a beautiful of the pond and have the most delicious breakfast. It was a short drive to the Blue River for trout fishing and then headed into town for dinner. We are already talking about planning our next trip out to visit again.

Beautiful country

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful cabin a few weeks ago. I am just now able to write a review. Let me first start out by saying that the hosts of this cabin are absolutely amazing. Vicki makes the best breakfast. Her cinnamon rolls are the best I have ever had. We were only at the cabin for a few days. One of those days, I wasn’t feeling very well, so I decided to stay at the cabin while my husband went to help our daughter prepare for her wedding, the following day. I walked around the beautiful pond, took many pictures of the livestock, sat on the porch, sat in the swing, etc. You would be amazed at how quite it is out there. I just fell in love with this place. Thank you so much Vicki & husband for making our stay so memorable.

Amazing place & Best of the Best Hosts!!!

We staid two nights in this beautiful, peaceful and calm place. Amendments are high quality, fire place we used every day and enjoying it very much. Relaxing views outside the cabin, nice bulls around making the our rest especially unforgettable. Many thanks to the hosts, they are very friendly. We had a ranch tour with them and shared excellent home made dishes which we could easily die for :) Highly recommend this place for couples to have a rest form the town and enjoy really country style staying.

A great place to relax and unwind

Luther and Vicki are wonderful hosts. They are hospitable, and this cabin is not only luxurious and clean, the property in which it is situated is really special. Our stay was idyllic, and the farm-to-table breakfast and ranch tour were really great. Getting a chance to see the ecology of the area was such a treat. And with the river and town square not far away the location is perfect. Luther and Vicki give guests the option to join them for breakfast or have it left on the cabin porch. So your stay can be as secluded as you want. We will return to stay again!

Beautiful and relaxing

We enjoyed staying and relaxing in this beautiful cabin. The scenery and the sunset couldn't have been better. And the breakfast was delicious! We were discussing booking another trip before we left the ranch this morning! Can't wait to come back!

Exactly what we needed

It’s even more beautiful than the photos, and they can’t capture the atmosphere of this place. It’s so very peaceful, surrounded by bird noises and the smell of spring in the air. The owners are perfect mix of available and aloof. We felt like we had complete privacy and space to do whatever we wanted, but they enhanced our experience with an amazing spread for breakfast and an atv tour of the property they have loved for many years. The set up is very comfortable and the giant windows give an ample view of nature in air conditioned comfort. Like others have said, the bulls were surprisingly fun to watch. This is a place that will leave you refreshed when you leave. Only thing I’d change is adding a few more days to our stay!

Peaceful and cozy

First of all the pictures do not do this place justice! It is gorgeous and nestled on some beautiful land, our baby was so entertained watching the bulls drink out of the pond from the giant picture windows! My husband loved being able to head right out the door with his fishing poll while the baby and I napped. Vicki and Luther went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and provided us with an amazing home made breakfast in the morning delivered on the front porch! If you’re needing a quiet little getaway this is a gem! Stop hesitating and book asap!

Cozy Cabin Anniversary

Located on a beautiful ranch in OK just 2 hours north of the North Dallas area. We initially found thus cabin searching for lodging as we wanted to visit the Ole Red restaurant and concert at The Dog House and this cabin is nearby Tishomingo. It was our 28th anniversary and a chance to stay in a beautiful cabin was very inviting. The ranch and cabin turned out to be so wonderful that we need to plan go back to spend more time there in the great outdoors. This cabin is perfect for a couples romantic getaway away from the city. Great hospitality from Luther & Vickie the owners.

A little slice of Heaven on Earth

We loved our stay. The cabin is gorgeous and well appointed. The pictures are beautiful, but don’t do it justice. Vicki and Luther are wonderful and warm hosts. The accommodations, views, food, and hospitality are second to none. Can’t wait to return!

Serenity, beauty

We needed a getaway from city lights and sounds; this property turned out to be the exactly right choice. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, the cabin beautifully unique, and the location comfortably remote. (We knew that if we needed them, Vicki or Luther would be there in a moment.) Walking around the pond and climbing on granite outcroppings made for lots of fun, especially with butterflies, dragonflies, and turtles keeping us company. We had no idea how entertain young bulls are. We enjoyed our time sitting in the front porch rockers before the sun got too hot then moving to the back porch for our supper, then back to the front for sunset. One of the highlights was seeing stars all over the black night sky. Another was touring the ranch with our hosts. We learned so much about the land--all of it interesting. The cabin has big windows to let you see nature, comfy furniture to settle into, and upscale finishes that tell you the people who conceived the idea of this cabin care about their guests. We left refreshed and ready to face reality.

AMAZING!

First, Vicky and Luther are just amazing people. It is the perfect place to get away from it all, the pictures of the house do not do it justice. Then to be pampered and spoiled with the delicious breakfast , it is worth going for alone.

Property was just as described. Nice and quiet Perfect for a weekend getaway

My wife and I had a great time. Mrs Harbert was just the greatest and quite a cook. We only live about 45 miles away. Left the kids at home and had a nice relaxing evening. I tried to pass on the breakfast but Vicki wasn’t gonna have it, she delivered our breakfast to the door. And what a breakfast it was. I took the leftover biscuits and enjoyed them the rest of day. Cabin is perfect for a couple, our cellphones worked(att) that’s always a plus. Go check this place out, maybe 2 miles from Blue River about 10 to Tishomingo. You won’t regret it.

This was the perfect getaway! It was quiet, tranquil, and secluded.

The cabin was spacious and homey, with all the amenities you need. It was perfect for spending time outside on the swing by the fire, watching the cows, or sitting inside to watch a movie. The breakfast provided was delicious as well! Vicki was very helpful and accommodating to every need. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing time away from home.

Perfect place for R&R

Upon arrival to this wonderful place we were treated like royalty! Vicky went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She made sure we had everything we needed. She even brought us some homemade goodies! The cabin is beautiful and cozy. It was way to cold out for us to go explore so we just stayed in and watched movies and napped! Vicky brought us full homemade breakfast and left it on the porch. The day we left she made a full breakfast. Her cooking is out of this world. My husband and I really enjoyed visting with Luther and Vicky. We went to Ole Red, and the Blue river. Both great places to go. Will be going back. (Maybe in spring or fall)
