This charming garden level apartment faces out onto Crawford Square, which has a lovely gazebo. This home is within easy walking distance to all that Savannah has to offer, but off the beaten path for a quiet and relaxing stay. Traveler’s Escape offers all the comforts of home in the Hostess City of the South.

A tasteful replica of a federal style home, you’ll find artwork throughout the home by well-known contemporary Savannah artists amidst a mix of tradition and modern furnishings. The living room has a Queen sleeper-sofa and plenty of comfortable seating. There is also a working gas fireplace, flat screen TV with Blu-ray player, and a breakfast table with seating. The recently remodeled galley kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a meal at home, or just a cup of coffee. At the end of the day, you’ll curl up in the king-sized bed with pillow-top mattress and drift off to sleep to prepare for your next adventure.

Enjoy the lovely courtyard to unwind at the end of a long day. Please keep in mind that this is a smoke-free property and smoking is not permitted in the apartment or the courtyard.

What is parking like for this home?
Parking for this home is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Most guests will purchase a parking pass and or pay a flat daily rate for the remainder of their stay.

I appreciate they provided some coffee, but no sugar or creamer to go with it. I am glad the weather was cooler when we were there as the air conditioning seamed to struggle. Maybe this is just the age of the home, but it was very humid and damp with a musty smell. We had to put our towels in the dryer after each use because they would not dry within a 24 hr period. Overall it was a good experience.

First time in welcoming savannah

Overall the location was excellent and the apartment was as described. It was clean and roomy, the bedding was very comfortable and the outdoor space was great for morning coffee. We had a problem with our code but the company was immediately available to reset it so we could get in quickly. Parking next to our place was $1/hr and easy to add time as needed. After 8pm there was no charge. We really enjoyed our stay

This was a fantastic property for our family of 4. Location was beyond ideal and easy to find/park daily. Everything was clean upon arrival, easy to access and accommodating during our entire stay. We especially loved hearing the horse drawn carriages each night

Excellent Stay

We had a great time while staying here. The location was great and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. At night it was quiet and the patio was a great place to unwind. Any communications/questions with the host/management were very quick and timely. I would definitely stay here again.

great location

beautiful property in great location. Property manager promptly responsive. However. The pull out sleeper bed is a joke. Very dirty and broken down. My friend, all of 110 lbs had to go to a chiropractor after sleeping on it 3 nights.

However, there were a few minor issues that could have been improved.The unit had a slight smell to it, and there was a minor gnat problem. After I reached out to management, they dropped off some gnat spray, but this only made the smell worse.The television channels were always looking for a signal, and this was quite annoying.Despite these minor issues, I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was great, and the unit was close to everything I needed. The neighborhood was quiet, and the park next door was a nice place to relax when homeless people were not using the park - it was safe there so no worries about them. Parking was available next to the unit, and it was metered from 8am to 8pm on weekdays.Overall, I would recommend this property to others. It is a great option for those looking for a clean, affordable place to stay in a convenient location.I hope this is helpful!

Everything promised and more

The home is exactly as advertised. Just perfect for my ten day stay with my toy poodle. The kitchen is very complete right down to included salt, pepper and sugar! The electric tea kettle was perfect. Lots of lovely towels. Crawford square is not the most beautiful of squares, but it is right outside the door! I love Savannah and would stay in this unit again.

The apartment was as pictured, nice, clean, and well equipped. There was a slight smell when we first entered, almost like a closed up smell, not very strong and we only noticed it the first day. Parking was very convenient, right outside the door. We could hear people across the alley and down the street in the evenings talking, sounded like they were right outside the bedroom, nothing major though. Loved the courtyard, had coffee out there each morning. We would stay here again. Thank you.
