About this property
Little Shed on Woodhill
For those longing for a country escape with the comforts of city living, Little Shed sits mountain-side just 5km out of Berry township. A true farm-stay, gaze upon paddocks, bushland and the sea; or catch a glimpse of our roaming Scottish Highlander Cattle. Soak up the view, visit the famous Seven-mile Beach and return for a night by the fireplace. If you derive comfort from the country, Susie the Goat and Stephanie the Deer will be there to greet you, any time of the day.
The space
Little Shed is a converted space, a historic barn-shed architecturally restored and given new life. Fully insulated, including insulated glass, reverse cycle heating/cooling, ceiling fans and a cast iron fireplace, you’ll have comfort across the seasons. To showcase its location, the shed has huge sliding glass doors to unify the outside serenity with the space. If the mood and weather align, the outdoor fire-pit and lounges are the best way to unwind with your guests. Inside, the shed provides an intimate and cozy space for a quiet night or slow morning. The bedrooms have plenty of privacy for down time, while the lounge room is perfect for a drink and dinner with friends or family. Step out on the veranda, and be entranced by rolling hills, bushland and ocean glimpses, or simply enjoy the view from inside! You’ll always feel in company with our beloved animals, surrounded by lush bushland that attracts many other faces from Kangaroos to native birds. Have a moment to remember feeding the animals or introducing the kids to the chooks and parrots on site. Soak up all the Little Shed has to offer, reunite with nature, country and forget the world for one weekend.
Guest access
Little Shed is located on a 100-acre property and hosts independent paddocks and enclosures for our beloved animals that call the property home. Guests are welcome to enter the paddocks and interact with the animals who are overwhelmingly friendly and love meeting new people. We ask that you do not wander into other adjoining areas due to the roaming cattle.
The property's main house is situated about 100 meters from the accommodation. Both houses have separate driveways from the road to ensure privacy.
Other things to note
Smoking on the property is allowed strictly outside only, being sure to have all doors shut and properly disposing of cigarette butts in the bins/ashtray provided.
