This container tiny home was perfect for our trip! Everything was as presented in listing ! We had everything we needed! Enjoyed it all! Thank you for quick response to any questions!
We really enjoyed our short stay in Alpine. We liked be just right outside of town but less than a mile from everything. We liked the separation from down stairs, beds were comfortable, and perfect amount of space.
Great place. He drove back and forth to big bend national park for three days visiting the park. We had a great time and this was a good place. Great views on the balcony at night and before sunrise for star gazing. In retrospect it was too far away from. Big bend but all the vrbo’s closer to the park were twice as much as this place. Overall a great place to stay.
Made a quick trip to Alpine - staying in this container home was a fun experience! Had everything we needed and then some! So many stars visible at night - loved it!
Overall, this is a cute little tiny house, but we didn’t find it to be a practical stay. I didn’t realize the internal structure of the house didn’t have a staircase inside of it, the only staircase connecting top and bottom floors was an extremely small, windy staircase outside of the building. Since we were there with our 3 young kids, this was a bit of a nightmare since we had no way for our kids to get to us upstairs if they needed us in the middle of the night without going outside. This lead to me sleeping on the 3rd sleeping space in the living room area - the futon. This should not be counted as a sleeping space. This futon was by far the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever sat on, let alone slept on. It was the worst sleep I’ve ever had. On top of these things, we had a few other random frustrations: the upstairs bathroom door didn’t stay closed, the kitchen is barely functional beyond maybe cooking one thing in one pan, there wasn’t enough cutlery for the amount of people staying, there wasn’t any restocks of garbage bags or paper towels so we ran out of things through our stay, the upstairs door is extremely heavy and was near impossible to close on windy days, the thermostat did not work and we found ourselves frozen every night despite trying to fix all of them multiple times. The views here were gorgeous, the stargazing patio was nice, the proximity to town was nice, but overall I would not recommend this house.
We enjoyed staying at this property . It was in a great location for all of our planned visits. We rode e-bike in Marfa, attended a Star Party at the McDonald Observatory, attended a Minor League Baseball game at Kokernot Field, played some golf at the Alpine Country Club, and hiked at Big Bend National Park. Jessica communicated very well with us through our stay. Highly recommend this property.

Surprisingly functional! We enjoyed the tiny house experience and it was cool to use the induction cooktop. Only thing we would have liked that we did not have was a toaster. Also be aware there are no laundry facilities but we planned ahead and did laundry before we arrived.
My family had a great stay in this adorable property. We saw quite a bit of wildlife in the mornings and evenings which is always fun. The beds were comfortable, the AC was COLD (which was perfect for this Texas summer). The home was equipped with everything we needed. They have thought of everything, from extra comfy throw blankets in the rooms to extra toiletries in the bathrooms. Management was communicative and fast to answer questions. We can’t wait to come back.
This place is so nice! Very modern, clean and comfy. Looks just like the pics. Great water pressure and hot water, lovely fluffy towels; including black washcloths for makeup removal! Coffee and Keurig were provided as well. The only thing I didn't catch from the listing is that the top bedroom is completely separate from the bottom. You have to take stairs up to that part. We had a couple of questions and the mgmt company was extremely responsive. There's a ton of good restaurants in Alpine and a natural food grocery store right across the street. Alpine is also really close to Marfa and about 2 hrs from the Big Bend and Terlingua. We had a great time!
Absolutely loved the property and the little town. We spent a few days driving around Marfa, Big Bend, Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Park. This was a great in between location where we wouldn’t have to pack daily.
I’m tall so I had some concerns over the size of the ceilings, shower, bed and it all far exceeded any hopes I had. The hosts have done a great job stocking the property and have put nicer towels, linens and things in to give it a very polished touch. My friend came with me and we had our own private space between the upstairs and lower level which was very welcomed.
The only hiccup we had was that I didn’t receive the 4 digit code in my text or email so I assumed falsely that the 2 digit code would let us in. The hosts and office were very accommodating and worked that out with us but to other guests I’d urge you to be sure you receive the 4 digit code the day before and reach out in advance if you don’t.
We’d love to come back. The views off the roof at the stars were a great bonus too.
