Winter stay at Field and Fern
This is the second time I've stayed here. I enjoyed the summer more just due to the walk to the outhouse and hot tub. I was unlucky with the weather during my last stay which forced me to stay inside most of the time. Despite this, the property is what is what is advertised aevertisef

Our cabin was comfortable, inviting, and beautifully decorated. The fire pit/hammock/bbq area is beside the creek and has perfect string lighting. Private toilet and shower is steps away and very clean. Outdoor hot tub is in an attractive enclosure with a social bar area on the creek side. Shonna was very helpful and an excellent communicator. The entire experience was top notch and perfect!

A tranquil getaway
What a peaceful and enjoyable weekend. The teeny cabin was exactly as advertised, and perfectly set up to accommodate 2 people comfortably. Despite being off a main road, (which is ideal for finding the place), it was as if we were miles from civilization. The sounds of nature everywhere. From the wisps of cool breeze as winds rustle through the large treed private lounging area, providing shelter on the hottest days, to the sound of water gently flowing down a brook directly behind the cabin. Complete with a hammock, BBQ, firepit and ample seating for 2, the outdoor setting is ideal for relaxation. And the hottub is a perfect added luxury. Cabin comes complete with all the basic necessities for a long weekend. We brought a cast iron pan which served us well for cooking breakfast on the BBQ, and tin foil for bbq'd sides. A large fully stocked complimentary coffeebar was more than enough to last 3 days. A mini fridge, perfect for storing food items. And with a Foodland not more than 10 minutes away, we wanted for nothing. The bed is soft and luxurious, providing excellent sleeps, and everything was immaculately clean when we arrived. Private 3 PCshower house is steps away from the cabin and again was immaculate in its cleanliness. Our host, Shonna went above and beyond, from detailed directions and general information, to answering questions during our stay. Shonna was a delightful host and clearly has great pride in her property. Highly recommend this stay
