About this property

Sunny Escapes Getaway - Your spacious home away from home!

Why would anyone stay in a hotel when you can spend your vacation in our spacious (1,060 sq ft) two bedroom condo? This condo has a comfortable king sized bed in the master bedroom and a full sized bed and a twin bed in the 2nd bedroom. The bathroom has double sinks. It is stocked with everything you need to make you feel at home including a washer/dryer, coffee maker, crock pot, iron and ironing board, etc. You will be comfortable for a weekend or a month long stay.
It is located at the family friendly Sports Village Resort. We are located in beautiful St. George, Utah, renowned for its amazing scenery, hiking and biking trails, golf courses, and national parks! Bring your ATV for some great riding too!

Resort amenities include:
-4 community charcoal BBQ grills with picnic tables located outside clubhouse under a Cabana next to pools.
-2 Large heated Pools (one 18+ pool and a family pool). Pools will be closed Monday following Thanksgiving and reopens on Friday of Presidents Day weekend.
-2 Jacuzzi - open year round
NOTE: The Tennis/Pickleball Courts will be closed starting on Monday, February 24, 2025 for necessary repairs. The repairs are anticipated to take 6 weeks. We hope to have the courts up and running the week of April 7th.

Great stay

The property is in a convenient location, close to restaurants and the freeway. Kitchen was fully equipped and so was the bathroom. The king bed is a little funky, but we ended sleeping great. The living room feels a little dark even during the day with the blinds open. Wish the shower head was a little bit better, but it was good pressure and temperature still. The pack n play crib was great. lots of towels and spare pillows/blankets. we'd stay here again.

Two bedroom condo in St George

Check in was very easy. It is in a great location to hikes and places to eat in St George. It is a Sports Village so there is basketball, shufffle board, volleyball, nice heated pool. My husband swam laps every morning and said he was very comfortable in the pool. We mainly did different hikes each day and they all were nor to far away. There is a small kitchen that was plenty for us. We ate breakfast in and ate out for a late lunch/dinner. Nice size bathroom with plenty of towels. Comfortable sitting in living room. We had to call Becky about microwave and she got somebody over to the condo quick.I guess the two things that should have some attention is the carpet needs cleaning. The king size bed is kind of funky especially on the right side. It is like you are in a hole.We would recommend to stay here and would go back again.

Baseball tournament

We had a baseball tournament for our 10 yr old and stayed at this property. I would definitely stay there again. It was relaxing and had plenty of things for us to do.

The size was perfect for our family. Great size living room, smaller bedrooms but that doesn't matter much, big bathroom. Had everything we needed.

Condo was in a great location to golf courses and to far away from Tuacahn. Had everything you needed. Would be a 10/10 of they updated the beds and couch. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice place

I didn’t mind doing a load of towels but stripping the bed and doing the sheets… we were there less than 10 hours. The place was clean and nice. Lots of supplies had we been there more than overnight would have been great. Beds we’re comfortable. I would recommend to friends.

Second stay better than the first!

Great place for myself and my daughter to stay while attending Tuacahn. I wrote a previous review after my first stay, but since my last stay, the kitchen appliances have been upgraded as I had suggested in my first review, so even better this time. Roomy and clean. Thanks again.

Oldie but a Goodie

Sports Village is a bit dated, but it was clean and easy to use. We liked having the basketball court there although we were not able to use the pool or hot tub as one was closed and the adult pool was open for everyone until it opens. Too crowded.

The unit is very comfortable. They have furnished it well. I didn’t care for their bed pillows but had brought our own. We enjoy coffee and the coffee pot was quite dirty and didn’t make good coffee. I would suggest a new better coffee pot. The king size bed was great! Very nice sheets and towels. We would definitely stay again.

For the price is was what we needed and had what we needed

This is an outdated unit. The kitchen is very small, but does have what is needed. There are two bedrooms and an ottoman that folds out into a bed, which was really nice. The living space/family room is large and there is a lot of seating. The bathroom is HUGE and that was great for so many people getting ready (6) and using the space. There are pool toys and beach towels in the bathroom closet which was great. The facilities were very nice and a lot of different activities on the property and the location was good. However, the reason I am only giving 3 stars is because the bed in the master bedroom was SUPER soft; like marshmallow soft. It is an older bed that the owners have put a memory foam mattress on and it was honestly so soft that it makes it a terrible nights sleep. Now, this could just be that I prefer a firm mattress, but my sister that was sleeping in the bed with me, prefers of soft bed and even this was WAY too soft for her. So for two nights we both slept horribly. The other beds were fine. But it makes it really difficult to enjoy a vacation when the bed is really uncomfortable and you don't sleep well. So just be aware of that. The owner was SUPER fast to respond when we got there early and needed to check in a bit early, so that was great. Everything else was great, just outdated.

We currently live in Pleasant Grove Utah and every chance we get we love to go to St George. We own a couple of side by sides and love riding here and the surrounding areas We love the weather here. Lots of fun in the sun!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property at Sports Village because we love the location. Its close to Snow Canyon the Tuachan and many other National Parks. We love all the amenities at Sports Village and all the fun amenities just happen to be right out our back door! The kids love it here. So much to do!

What makes this property unique

You can get to hiking trails, biking trails and ATV trails from right out the front door of the condo. If you are a golfer there are several golf courses within 5 miles of the condo
