great stay

Outstanding, after a small problem in communication that was solved quickly. It was a small inconvenience when we lost power for two days but adventurous. If ever the need to return we will use this property manager.

Everything we wanted

We were in the area for the eclipse with friends--this place had everything we needed! Two rooms for sleeping, an area to play games, updated bathroom and kitchen. Decor was interesting.

Cycling Paradise

The accommodations were perfect for our group. We were in Xenia to cycle. The house is conveniently located to Xenia Station. The owner was very responsive to some questions we had upon arrival. Also, the house is within walking distance of restaurants and the Main Street but in a very quiet neighborhood.

Cute place for an adult stay

This property's interior was really cute! Lots of vintage decor in the main living space, including games, books, and random items. The Curiosity Box is a great name for it! We did have an issue with communication, as all of the info (address, check in/check out info) was on a website, and each time the host sent the link by message, the link could not be clicked or copy/pasted on my phone. It took multiple steps on my laptop (before the trip) to get the link to my phone. Once that was handled, we had no more trouble with it.We were also unprepared for the adult decor in the master bedroom. While the 'Sex Tester" game can technically be seen in the listing photos, it wasn't actually clear what it was. And the painting above the mantle is now of a top-nude woman with a child. Definitely not what was shown. Kind of an uncomfortable surprise on a college visit trip with our teen.Check out was easy, with only a couple of things they asked us to do before leaving.

Weekend Trip to Visit Family

The home was easy to find, although not being used to one way residential streets made getting to the driveway interesting. Once we arrived and made it inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the decor. Such a beautiful gem in the middle of the subdivision. This is a gorgeous old, renovated home and again, the decor is phenomenal. We enjoyed researching the paintings and looking at the items in the living room. We felt safe and the neighborhood seemed quiet, with little traffic. There are a few nice restaurants nearby and some great parks to explore. Adam was kind and patient with communication. I had some trouble with accessing the booking info using the link he sent, but he kept trying until I was able to access it. I am not an amateur when it comes to technology, but sometimes things just don’t work end to end. He was very helpful and we accessed the property without issue. Overall we had a great time and will certainly stay again when visiting family in the future.

Comfortably Small Charmer

The house was just as pictured. Two bedrooms, a central living space, eat in kitchen with a good size bathroom off of it. It was too chilly to enjoy the outdoor deck but it is plenty large for 4 chairs and conversation. The master bed was very comfy and I enjoyed breakfast at the kitchen island. Expect a 100 year old house with fun decor, an updated kitchen and bathroom and you will be happy. Note: the house is on a corner with the driveway on the one way street. GPS will easily get you to the front door, but not the driveway.
