It has its quirks

This is going to be a lot so let me start by saying the cabin it self was beautiful and clean and matched the pictures. Now, when me and my son first arrived we went to the back of the cabin to look for the grill, which they said was going to be charcoal so I bought charcoal for it. Turns out it is a gas grill that just doesn’t work. Okay cool I can make burgers inside. I wanted to make fries with the burger, the oven doesn’t work. Stove top works great but no oven. Tried to use the toaster oven provided but even after 25 mins my fries were still super soft. Okay no problem. When we went to the back to check the grill, coming back inside we noticed we kept feeling biting but couldn’t see anything. After close inspection we were covered with tons of very very tiny back bugs that were almost impossible to get rid of the entire time there. On our second day there, people and a realtor showed up to walk around the house because apparently it’s for sale. The company communicated back and forth with both of us, it wasn’t a hassle, just unexpected. Over all the place was worth what you pay I guess. But would I stay here again? Most likely not

Need to know

The VRBO was ok. Just a few things that need attention. The king size bed was not good. Too soft and sinks to the middle. My husband went to the other bedroom and said that bed was just as bad. An up graded coffee pot would be great. This one doesn’t seem to keep the coffee very hot. This is not a kid friendly double wide. The yard front and back would not be good for children. With no tv in the living room and limited toys for children in the kids room. The floor needed a little attention and the master closet had stuff thrown in on the floor. They asked upon leaving to please put out trash in the trash receptacle outside but non was provided. Called the provided number and they were quick to reply and said to just leave it in the house which we did. This could be a great little VRBO with just a few up grades. We loved the front pouch and furniture. Even saw deer. We never cooked so don’t know about the pots and pans but the silver wear only had one teaspoon and the rest were bigger ones. Small fridge and not much freezer space.
